Clear skies with beautiful blues, radiant sunny mornings, and fresh air accompanied by gentle breezes. A multitude of trees, some bare, others completely dry, and still others with new buds or seed pods. This has been the scene this first week of March, all along the rural roads leading away from the town's streets. And, as always, there I am, with my old camera and my backpack filled with equally old lenses. With my usual patience, I observe and find harmony, deciphering abstractions as I gaze upwards with slightly wrinkled eyes, exploring forms. Thus, just as I've described, these photographs were born, which I share with you today on #Hive. They are my photos of trees in the midst of drought, seen in a very particular way, as I understand them...

Cielos muy despejados y con azules hermosos, mañanas de sol radiante y aire fresco acompañado de suaves brisas y un montón de árboles deshojados algunos, totalmente secos otros, o incluso algunos con brote nuevos o vainas de semillas. Así ha sido esta primera semana de Marzo, y todo esto ocurre a lo largo de los caminos rurales que se alejan de las calles del pueblo. Y, como siempre cada año, allí estoy yo, con mi vieja cámara y mi mochila con también viejos lentes. Y con la misma paciencia de siempre, voy mirando y encontrando armonía, descifrando abstracciones mientras miro hacia arriba con los ojos un poco arrugados explorando formas. Así, tal como lo he narrado, nacieron estas fotografías que las cuales comparto hoy con ustedes en #Hive, y son mis fotos de árboles en plena sequía, vistos de una manera muy particular, como yo los entiendo...
