Women's footwear session - eng/esp

My niece asked me to take some photos of her wearing some shoes from a local artisan, so we got to work. We went to the wide spaces of the patio of the Hotel Nacional early in the morning, to make specific shots of her feet and of course, her shoes, against the deep blue of the sea and sky of that splendid morning. I had never done anything similar, so I did the most obvious thing: concentrate my photos on that part of the body and on the product, with good poses trying to show the most attractive angles of it. We use natural light all the time. I didn't want to attract too much attention if, in addition to carrying a camera on my chest, I also had an external flash and a softbox, so the light provided by the sun had to be enough, and I think it was. What do you think of this selection of some of the photos from that day?

Mi sobrina me pidió que le hiciera algunas fotos luciendo unos zapatos de una artesana de su localidad, así que le pusimos manos a la obra. Fuimos a los amplios espacios del patio del Hotel Nacional temprano en la mañana, para hacer planos específicos a sus pies y por supuesto, los zapatos, contra el azul profundo del mar y del cielo de aquella espléndida mañana. Nunca había hecho algo similar, así que hice lo más obvio: concentrar mis fotos en esa parte del cuerpo y en el producto, con buenas poses tratando de que se vieran los ángulos más atractivos del mismo. Usamos luz natural todo el tiempo. No quería llamar demasiado la atención si además de andar con cámara en el pecho, sumaba también un flash externo y un softbox, así que con la luz que nos proveía el sol tuvo que ser suficiente, y pienso que así fue. Ustedes qué opinan de esta selección de algunas de las fotos de aquél día?
