Crotalaria pallida
Crotalaria pallida is a genus of flowering plants in the Fabaceae subfamily Faboideae commonly known as rattlepods. They are commonly found in moist grasslands, especially in floodplains, depressions, and along the edges of swamps and rivers, but also in densely leafy scrubland, roadsides, and fields.
Some species of Crotalaria are grown as ornamental plants. because they have beautiful flowers. The common name rattlepod or rattlebox comes from the fact that the seeds are released when the pods open when ripe, and rattle when the pods are shaken.
Before becoming fruit. Initially, the flowers are yellow in color, then form fruit. At first glance, this plant is similar to soybeans, from the shape of the stem and fruit, also the leaves are almost similar to soybean leaves.
When the fruits of this plant are ripe and open, the seeds in the pods will fall off and new seeds will grow. Under certain climatic conditions, this plant grows rapidly and abundantly.
