Hello everyone! For a few months ago I live in a rural area next to my brothers, it would be expected that the house being surrounded mostly by land, count on the presence of insects or trace animals of this type. Well, thanks to the presence of certain tenants, we can enjoy the tranquility that these unwanted little animals disappear to the point of not running with them. And it is that, a few frogs, have made the kitchen of our house, home. It is normal to see them appear around the corners, giving jumping around the place in search of insects and the funniest, take a bath in any space with water they find.

These frogs have lost fear of us humans or at least, they are cautious, but if they let themselves be grabbed by my sister. She does not hesitate to take them between her hands when some of the frogs is somewhere where she should not, like for example, the ground, since sometimes to our kitten, she is interested in playing with some frog, but these are not in the mood to receive classes of felories spoiled.

Sometimes my sister finds some dead beetles or insects, instead of sweeping them, brings them to the area of the frogs, as a gift for them. Being that we are grateful to keep the kitchen free of pests. Even my sister has put a name to several and even my mother, in her recent visit, lost her fear since you do not know at what point you will see some eyes watching you from some corner.

Even, they have their small space in the kitchen that I usually call “the pond of the frogs”, where a dip can occur calmly. In a short time, I have used his picturesque presence, although I still do not dare to take them among my hands as natural as my sister does. They are harmless animals and you could even say that they are like our pets.

¡Hola a todos! Desde hace unos meses atrás vivo en una zona rural junto a mis hermanos, se esperaría que la casa al estar rodeada en su mayoría por tierra, contase con la presencia de insectos o animales rastreros de éste tipo. Pues, gracias a la presencia de ciertas inquilinas, podemos gozar de la tranquilidad de que estos animalitos no deseados, desaparezcan hasta el punto de no toparnos con ellos. Y es que, unas cuantas ranas, han hecho de la cocina de nuestra casa, su hogar. Es normal verlas aparecer por las esquinas, dando saltos por el lugar en busca de insectos y lo más gracioso, darse un baño en cualquier espacio con agua que encuentren.

Estas ranas le han perdido el miedo a nosotros los humanos o al menos, son cautelosas, pero si se dejan agarrar por mi hermana. Ella no duda en tomarlas entre sus manos cuando alguna de las ranas se encuentra en algún lugar donde no debería, como por ejemplo, el suelo, ya que a veces a nuestro gatito, le interesa jugar con alguna rana, pero estas no están de humor de recibir zarpazos de felinos mimados.

En ocasiones mi hermana encuentra algunos escarabajos o insectos muertos, en lugar de barrerlos, los acerca a la zona de las ranas, como un regalo para ellas. Siendo que estamos agradecidos que mantengan la cocina libre de plagas. Inclusive mi hermana le ha puesto nombre a varias y hasta mi madre, en su visita reciente, les perdió el miedo ya que no sabes en qué momento verás unos ojitos observándote desde algún rincón.

Incluso, tienen su pequeño espacio en la cocina que suelo llamar "el estanque de las ranas", en donde pueden darse un chapuzón con tranquilidad. En poco tiempo, me he habituado a su pintoresca presencia, aunque aún no me atrevo a tomarlas entre mis manos de manera tan natural como lo hace mi hermana. Son animales inofensivos y hasta se podría decir que son como nuestras mascotas.
