Sattal Lake : A symphony of peaks and valleys.

As the scorching summer months is taking a toll on mind and body, Everybody wants to escape the blazing heat to refresh and rejuvenate. Like I used to do while I was in Delhi. This year the temperature is breaking all barriers, and people are looking for some summer breaks near the hill station. People who cannot afford to travel abroad are always keen to visit nearby hill stations to enjoy the summers. This makes all the hill station quite crowded during the summer time. Looking at my old hard drive, I found some of the pictures from sattal lake and mere looking at the freshness rejuvunated me in the hot summer weather.
Sattal or Sat Tal is an interconnected group of seven freshwater lakes situated in the Lower Himalayan Range near Bhimtal, a town of the Nainital district in Uttarakhand, India. During the British Raj, the area had a tea plantation, one of four in the Kumaon area at that time - Wikipedia.
But I doubt the reason people visit to these hill station. Apart from having a cooler climate than surrounding areas, natural beauty has also been the reason that makes the hill station so popular destination for people seeking relief from heat. These hill station are abundant of natural beauty. They often have waterfall , mountains, valleys that contribute to their beauty. Sattal lake is not so differrnt. It has many picturesque set up that makes it a go to destination for a summer holidays.
The real reason people opt for hill station has been to get close to the nature and enjoy some peaceful time from their hectic work-life schedule. Appreciating nature is a simple pleasure that can be a basic human experience. It can be a way to slow down, find rest, and be reminded of what is more important in life. Visting Sattal lake gave a sense of belongingness. The natural set up and mountain from all the side allow me to cool off from the life and helped me to focus. I enjoyed clicking landscape from every possible angle. The entire area is covered with mountains and pine trees that gave a nice set up for a holiday.
Wandering among the whispers of the wind and on top of the valeh was very relaxing and adventurous. A nature walk can help you appreciate nature without distractions and can have mental health benefits. In every walk with nature one receives far more than we seeks. Nature never goes out of style. And this is what makes a break close to nature a must during the year. It will rejuvenate mind , body and soul and help you a to focus with the reason to live life happily. Hope you like the amazing natural collection from old albums. Appreciate life, enjoy nature!

I'd give a lot to just go out there and relax. I can already picture myself out under the shade of a tree reading a book and sipping from my drink.
Or just having some good time with family/friends, playing games, talking and catching up.
I'm certain I'd leave there lighter and rejuvenated. Nature is a different kind of therapy. Definitely never goes out of fashion.

No plans for next two year....have some personal commitment ....this is where old albums comes handy...alwsys cherish the good old times
