Flowers in summer: Rose of Syria

avatar
(Edited)

And we are still in summer, it has not gone away, it has not disappeared, it is still here with us. The sun still warms us a lot, the light is intense and bright and we look at the blue sky, it's still very blue.

Everything remains the same, the temperature and the sweat, and walking through a large park full of trees, bushes and palm trees, I discover an endless number of colors, a multitude of flowers that seem to continue to bloom without thinking much about the fact that autumn will soon arrive. If we didn't know, it seems that we are about to reach spring again, because everything blooms with great vitality.

Among so much floral abundance, some stand out for their freshness, size and color. A large bush or a small tree completely full of beautiful pink flowers, of a delicate and special pink color. It is the so-called "Hibiscus syriacus" flower, more commonly called (at least around here) Rose of Syria, that is where it comes from... what a wonderful variety!
By the way I figured out the official name of flowers and plants using an identification app called "Picture This", and also "PlantNet".

Here more photos!

It is not the first time that I see this beautiful flower, but it strikes me that they are so vigorous at this time, after so much relentless sun, perhaps too strong for such flowers that usually delight us with their presence at other times. And there they are, open, large, striking, decorating the brown branches, the green leaves and even the blue sky, creating such nice color contrasts that we love.

But it is wonderful to see them like this, so flowery and perfect now, too, on a hot summer day, this long summer that may end one day, soon, when we least expect it. But it doesn't matter because the sun will continue to shine quite a lot and we will continue to see wonderful flowers and enjoying amazing images and beautiful natural panoramas even when we don't expect it, in fact I have seen a couple more, I will tell you…

Nature is always amazing, right?

Thanks for reading! Have an amazing and flowery day.

I appreciate your work and your post has been manually curated by Botanic team @oscurity on behalf of Amazing Nature Community. Keep up the good work!

Hello, a piece of advice if you ever consult a site to identify a flower, I recommend mentioning it! I think you should have consulted one to identify the flower! Also, when you use bibliographic citations, we tend to vote for the posts using the DNA account. Hugs!
