Tiny Little Creatures

It looks like summer is slowly approaching, over the past week we've had a few good days, although there seems to be a constant wind as things are at the moment.

Sunday was a good day, I went to an artisan market in the morning and when I got home I spent the afternoon on the garden.

As I was sat there, I saw a red shield bug on the pagoda, we do seem to get the green ones around here, but first time I've seen the red one.
Although after reading up, this could well be a green one as they do change colour to a red/rusty colour, and with it not being quite summer, I think it's not changed back to green as yet, although I'm no expert, I may well be wrong.

After grabbing the camera, I decided to do a bit of a bug hunt, anything that moved but not too quick I tried to get a shot.

I love this shot of the snail, it was on a bit of a wooden container wall, I love the detail on this one.

There was plenty of bee action around my apple tree, the smell of the apply blossom is lovely this time of year, it's wonderful to see nature at work, I also managed to get my little Miner Bee house put up on the wall of the garage, hopefully it won't be too late to get some residents this year.

It's just a quick short post from myself today, but I really do hope you like the shots.

Sigma 105mm Macro Lens (Canon fit)
Sigma MC-11 Canon to Sony Mount adaptor.

I was experimenting with a higher f stop that I would normally use, some of these were shot at f/18, which I think it a bit much for this lens to retain detail.
