Sunday Musings with Mother Nature

avatar

One of my favorite Sunday is waking up to a sunny day after a rainy night. It always feels like a new beginning. There is a feel of a whole new day full of positive vibes. The night rain seemed to wash away those dirt, and dust of yesterday. The dewy surroundings rejuvenates my spirit and all other creatures seemed to feel the same too. It rehydrates the withered veins of my soul and summons that part of me that have flown away for a while and that is my love for macrophotography.

It' been a while since posted macros. I didn't realize I have been out of touch with the little details of nature. I forgot to focus and appreciate the little things. And this beautiful morning reminded me so.

I took my phone camera and lens.
The sun's rays early in the morning gives off that warmth just enough to thaw a frozen love ~ for macros.

The Dewdrops

Dew drops are always my favorite subject. All the elements needed to feel alive is in this photo.

I took another photo of the leaf with dew drops so I could compare which photo was taken at better angle. But my shaky hands was not cooperating and instead I captured this blurry one. As I checked all my photos taken at this point, I realized this wasn't so bad. I love the burst of orb-like suspension of lights.

There is always beauty in every situation even in its vagueness. It is in us to see it.

This is my vision when I do not have my glasses on. 🤓

This dude is having a drinking session. After a week-long of dry and hot summer days, Mother Nature provided the necessary water break. Isn't she the mother of all mothers! Because without her providing us what we need to survive, how will we? So, let me extend my warmest greetings and gratitude to you.

Happy Mother's Day to Mother Nature!

The Flowers

Shifting my attention to flowers, I found this flower from a tree. Instead of falling down directly to the ground, it fell on a leaf. This is manifesting that famous line in a song "Catch me, I'm falling". I guess it is alright to fall when something or someone will catch you. 😅

This pink rose bud is a budding beauty that captivated my heart. Like this rose, you are a flower that will blossom to its most beautiful. So keep growing and blooming.

This grass has very tiny flowers. And what I noticed is that the small flowers seems like it just pop out of the stem as if they pasted there.

The Tendrils

Mother nature never fails to teach us some lessons if we look closer to the little in things like this curly tendrils. For me, tendrils teach us that in order to for us to reach to what we hope for, we need to curl up and hold on. So just hold on, you'll get there.

We all have struggles in life that we need to overcome. Curl up if we need to. Just keep going, keep climbing.

This was supposed to be simply just a day taking macro shots and appreciating beauty of the little things that remained unnoticed until you put your focus on them. But Mother Nature is just amazing! Looking at these photos, this simple and boring day turn into a Sunday musings. Mother Nature really is our ultimate mother, providing us with our needs like water, air, sunlight and food and teaching us lesson even in the littlest and most discreet ways.

This is something I want to learn or should I say I want to take photos too but I only have my phone without macros.
