Enter Heaven
There are places where time feels like it stands still, where silence speaks louder than sound. This was taken deep in the desert of south Israel, inside a narrow canyon where light barely touches the ground. But when it does, it paints poetry onto stone.

The moment felt sacred, like stepping through a threshold where heaven brushes the earth. I was drawn to the way the light sliced through the shadows, revealing the raw texture of the rock and the fragile life growing below.

Shot on my Nikon D40 with a 50mm lens, I chose black and white to focus on the drama of the contrast, the tension between dark and light, rough and soft. Part of my ongoing search for the abstract language of nature and emotion.

At first, I thought this was a bolt of cloth (from the thumbnail). It is the exact opposite thing. Hard rock. I love the treachery of images :)

Thank you kindly, yes even the purplish tone I gave it made it softer, the original shot is very orange and brown sandy vibe, warm but very harsh, I wanted to flip it, make it colder, softer and inviting path to the above world.
