Hello, my lovely friends!

My day started earlier than usual today. My alarm clock hadn't even gone off yet, but my duties and responsibilities called me out of bed at 4:00 AM to prepare for a big task today: driving an excavator to "cut down rubber trees" and dig a fish pond. This is actually work from yesterday that I had to postpone because I had to take my aunt to the doctor as my daughter-in-law.

🏠 My mission of showing gratitude and caring for loved ones is my morning happiness. 🤍🫰🏻
Life might seem a little hectic lately because my aunt (my mother-in-law's sister) recently underwent abdominal surgery. But as they say, luckily we live close by, so I can visit and take care of her often.
4:00 AM: Open the back door.
The first thing I do is check on my aunt. Seeing that she's doing well and that my niece and aunt-in-law are taking care of her, I return to take care of my own household tasks.

✌🏻Taking care of my mother-in-law is my main responsibility and something I'm very proud of.
This morning's special menu was "pork congee with mashed egg" to make it easy for her to digest and ensure she gets complete nutrition. I divided it into two meals (breakfast and lunch) and prepared them in advance.
While waiting for the food to cool down, my husband and I skillfully helped bathe my mother-in-law. Even though the weather outside was starting to get hot, she gets cold easily in the mornings like this, so we had to be quick and extra careful. After bathing, I took over, grooming her, applying lotion all over her body, powdering, combing her hair, and dressing her to make her look fresh before feeding her a delicious breakfast followed by milk and warm water to soothe her throat.

🌱 Vegetable garden and pets: Small joys in the hustle and bustle
Before leaving the house, I still managed to spare a little time to take care of the turtles in the backyard and couldn't resist watering the lush green vegetable garden. Seeing the plants receiving water in the morning gives a tremendous boost of energy to working people like us.

🚜 From housework to the job site: Tackling a large project under the scorching sun.
7:10 AM. Time to transform into a driver. I quickly got dressed and headed to the worksite. I drove along, taking pictures of the scenery. I really wanted to post them on social media immediately, but the signal was uncooperative, cutting in and out the whole way.

🌳Today's Work Site:
We're digging a small pond to store water for the villagers' vegetable gardens. It took about two hours and a half, amidst a bustling atmosphere with workers carrying wood, tractors, and villagers waiting to fish in the pond. It's a busy but charming depiction of everyday life.

🥪 Simple Lunch, but Full of Energy!
The midday sun today was incredibly hot. Luckily, the backhoe has air conditioning, helping me concentrate on operating the machine. My husband and I took turns driving and resting. Our lunch today was quick and easy: a bottle of Vitamilk each and a steamed bun each. That was enough to power us through the afternoon work.
Fulfilling my duties as a daughter-in-law, granddaughter-in-law, and worker makes me feel that my day is truly valuable. Even though it's tiring at times, I feel fulfilled every time I see the people I love happy and the work I'm responsible for is successfully completed.
