π΄ Tales from the Palm Garden: A Day Full of Missions, Chaos, and Growing Life π¦π¦
Hello, dear friends!
Today, I'd like to share the story of yesterday, filled with both chaos and hope in our garden. It was a day when rural life unfolded its full charm.
πͺοΈ A chaotic beginning: birds in flight and a rescue mission
The day began with a heartwarming routine, whether it was preparing food for beloved pets or caring for our beloved mother. But then the unexpected happened. While I was diligently cleaning my bird cage, a minor mistake caused by the water and cold accidentally loosened the door latch... My four beloved parrots, a lively sun conure and a charming green cheek parrot, flew free into the sky.
I spent the entire morning on a stressful rescue mission, trying to find the little birds that had wandered aimlessly. Even with bird calls calling them back, hope was still waning, but life had to go on. In the afternoon, I decided to pursue my main mission: heading into the garden to feed the ducks and chickens, and most importantly, fertilizing the oil palm trees

π Heading to the Garden: A Productivity-Increasing Mission
My husband and I drove our trusty tricycle, loaded with buckets and fertilizer, to an oil palm plantation awaiting nurturing. We diligently fertilized the palms to ensure they received the necessary nutrients (such as a 15-10-30 fertilizer or 12-5-38 for productive palms, a formula rich in potassium (K) that supports fruit bunches and yield). Unfortunately, we ran out of fertilizer before we could complete our mission.
ποΈ To the Market: A Fertilizer Fair and New Beginnings
We decided to continue our tricycle ride to the market to buy more fertilizer. When we arrived at our usual store, we found a grand fertilizer sale. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and offered a variety of fertilizers, but I ended up sticking with my usual fertilizer, a full bag full of it. In addition to the fertilizer, I also had a great opportunity to expand my garden! I decided to buy five more oil palm trees, and most excitingly, I started planting a new cash crop: the Chumphon hybrid cacao tree. (It's known for its consistent yield and high fat content.) I also bought five plants to plant in our garden.
The event also featured a lecturer on fertilizing and growing oil palms, which is incredibly helpful for sustainable gardening. After the sale, we received a variety of free gifts, including bags, calendars, vegetable oil, and shirtsβsmall joys that perfectly complemented the day's mission.

πΏ Mission Conclusion: Combating Weeds and Planning for the Future
Upon returning to the orchard, we quickly completed fertilizing the remaining palm trees. However, during fertilization, we encountered a major problem that needed to be addressed the next day: dense weeds growing around the base of the palm trees. These weeds were major competitors for nutrients from the fertilizer we had just applied. Therefore, my husband and I firmly planned to mow the grass tomorrow morning to ensure the palm trees received the full amount of nutrients.
The fertilization mission was completed in the evening, capping off a long and challenging day, from the loss of a fledgling bird, searching for and purchasing fertilizer, and starting a new cocoa plantation. Although exhausting, we were filled with hope and pride at every step of our farming journey.

For today, I must say goodbye to you all. See you again soon. Thank you for following and supporting me. Thank you very much.
