OTF Coach #228, NYC Day 4 and Central Park

avatar

Tiffany and I started the day in New York City by working out at a second different Orangetheory Fitness studio and our 41st overall.

We also worked out for our 228th Orangetheory Coach as a couple.

Had a great workout, Coach Jacqueline was awesome and both Tiffany and I got in our sweat equity.

I actually was extra stoked to have one of my best looking charts in recent weeks with the added bonus of getting in the coveted 12+ splat points.

Four days into our New York City vacation has included plenty of eating and walking, but making sure we still include our HIIT workouts under the orange lights.

Today’s walk was at Central Park:

The weather was spectacular and it’s been years since I’ve been in Central Park.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn and worked in Manhattan for more tgan half of my life, so Central Park was always at arms length.

Of course, I lived here for so many years; but will always feel that I probably took it for granted. Now, that I’m here as a visitor and it’s with Tiffany and my stepsons I’m on tourist mode.

Tiffa and I took a few hours to ourselves and went to two rooftop lounges:

Tomorrow, the Staten Island Ferry and walking across the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan is on the to do list.

Trying @lhes 🤪
It’s not easy. When I get back to Florida there will be a few extra pounds more to burn 😂 The walking a lot is helping here in NYC.

One must be conscious about the fitness and do some workout and walk.

The weather looks very cool indeed. I love the fact that it is not too sunny. It is as cool as any other thing

Wow! Looks like a great time! So many turtles - really cool! Looks like a great workout. I don't know what splats are, but sounds like a good thing! I live in Panama and wonder if there are some Orange Theory gyms in the City (we're 8 hours from there, but I remember seeing some gyms last time we stayed there). I like HIIT! It's pretty fun - I watch some videos on YT to do workouts on occasion.

Nothing like home. I may not live there anymore, but it takes me very little time to readjust to it. Glad I went for 7 days. @lesmann it's an honor to be a New Yorker as you know.

Yes it is, actually although I did do kindergarten in NY, I grew up in NJ, but...
I discovered Staten Island and NYC at a early age!
