Rainy Days

I really hope that you all are doing well and may be full of blessings and energy this week that is already beginning. This is the first post of a section in my blog in which I will write only in English. First of all because I love sharing with you, people from other countries, and also because it is a way to improve my skills and my brain in relation to this language. I hope that you may enjoy my content and like it.

Today I woke up early in the morning (as I usual do) to go to work. I had no electricity at home (as usual too), so I had a bath, got dressed and while I had breakfast it started to rain. I knew that today will be a difficult day. I will not have my regular transportation and I supposed to go to the train station, but the rain changed my plans.

I came to work with a friend and colleague of mine that took me into his car and... there I was. The Sun was intermittent. Also the rain. Sometimes it was raining cats and dogs and some time it was not raining too much.

Today I will have a quiet day, just a meeting in my agenda. I had a feeling about today's department's meeting and I was right. I knew that I must came today. In today's meeting I was announced as the possible head of department in the next five years and I still cannot believe it! I am aware of all the responsibilities that it involves, but I know too that history was not written by cowards.

This day was a gray day. A day that will always be in my mind. On the other hand, in similar days, I used to stay in bed, maybe listening to music, reading or enjoying a snack, or sleeping. Rainy days were made for that (in my humble opinion). In this kind of days people are relaxed and enjoying the bad weather. Actually if we take some minutes to reflect about it, bad weather is the less that it is.

As I said before, I am passionate about listening to music and there is an specific song that I love to listen. It's name is like this kind of day: "Rainy Days" by V (Kim Taehyung, from BTS). This song is quite perfect for this season. It starts with the sound of the rain, the sound of the phone keyboard when we type a message and the sound of an incoming notification. I strongly recommend that song, and not only for rainy days, but for the day by day.

The rain is in most cases associated to blessings, miracles, hope, life and grace. And it certainly is. Air turns cooler, energy flows and good vibes raise. Personally I am a fan of rain, except when it rains because of a hurricane of course.

Watching tv is another activity that perfectly match with rain, a serie or a movie, wearing socks and an oversized t-shirt. June is a rainy month, and it is used to rain, even more than in May. The uncomfortable part of it is when I have to move from one place to another, because I keep saying that rainy days were made to stay at home.
