๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ ~ No soy la persona mas diestra en el tema de postres, mi fuerte son los platos salados y en cantidades grandes para muchos comensales, pero durante la reuniรณn familiar de aรฑo nuevo me pidieron hornear algunos platillos y dije:

"Tomarรฉ algunas fotos para hacer un lindo blog de cocina -hip-!"

Ay, pero te advierto que el "lindo blog" esta incompleto y hago un poco el papel de payasa y ya verรกs el por quรฉ.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ~ I'm not the most skilled dessert person, my forte is savory dishes and in large quantities for many diners, but during the New Year's family gathering I was asked to bake some dishes and I said:

"I'll take some pictures to make a nice cooking blog -hip-!"

Alas, I warn you, the "cute blog" is incomplete and I'm playing a bit of a clown, and you'll see why.

Bรกsicamente el "Quesillo Venezolano" es un pudรญn gigante a base de leche y huevos principalmente, es delicioso y la receta original es costosa por sus ingredientes, que lleva alta cantidad de leche condensada.

Pero una tรญa me enseรฑo una receta alternativa mas econรณmica y que sabe exactamente igual a la receta original, esta receta rinde para 10 personas.

Basically the "Quesillo Venezolano" is a giant pudding made mainly of milk and eggs, it is delicious and the original recipe is expensive because of its ingredients, it has a high amount of condensed milk.

But an aunt of mine taught me an alternative recipe that is more economical and tastes exactly the same as the original recipe, this recipe makes 10 people.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ โœฆ Ingredientes: 1 y 1/2 tasa de agua, 1 y 1/2 de leche completa en polvo, 1 y 1/2 de azucar blanca, 6 huevos completos, 3 cucharadas de esencia de vainilla, 1 copa pequeรฑa de ron, una quesillera, 1 olla grande o vaporera de cocina con su tapa, 1 cochara de madera larga.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ โœฆ Ingredients: 1 and 1/2 cups of water, 1 and 1/2 cups of powdered whole milk, 1 and 1/2 cups of white sugar, 6 whole eggs, 3 tablespoons of vanilla essence, 1 small glass of rum, a quesillera, 1 large pot or steamer with its lid, 1 long wooden spoon.

ใ€ PASO 1 ใ€‘ Vamos a elaborar el caramelo dentro del recipiente donde cocinaremos la mezcla, si no tienes quesillera, sirve bien una olla pequeรฑa de metal no muy profunda y que cuente con una tapa que le calce bien. Agrega azucar hasta cubrir el fondo de la olla, agrega 2 cucharadas de agua y pon en la cocina a fuego medio bajo; cuando el caramelo se vea traslucido y de un moreno brillante, saca la olla del fuego y gira con cuidado la olla como un reloj inclinado para que el caramelo cubra todas las paredes internas de la olla.

ใ€ STEP 1 ใ€‘ We are going to elaborate the caramel inside the container where we will cook the mixture, if you don't have a quesillera, a small metal pot not too deep and with a lid that fits well will do. Add sugar until it covers the bottom of the pot, add 2 tablespoons of water and put on the stove over medium low heat; when the caramel is translucent and bright brown, remove the pot from the heat and carefully turn the pot like an inclined clock so that the caramel covers all the inside walls of the pot.

ใ€ PASO 2 ใ€‘ Agrega agua en la olla vaporera hasta llenarla a la mitad, y lleva a la cocina a fuego alto para que hierva.

ใ€ STEP 2 ใ€‘ Add water to the steamer until it is half full, and bring to a boil over high heat.

ใ€ PASO 3 ใ€‘ Agrega todos los ingredientes en la licuadora y bate primero a baja velocidad, y luego a mรกxima velocidad, asegรบrate de cubrir y sostener la tapa con un paรฑo limpio para evitar accidentes.

ใ€ STEP 3 ใ€‘ Add all the ingredients in the blender and blend first at low speed, then at maximum speed, making sure to cover and hold the lid with a clean cloth to avoid accidents.

ใ€ PASO 4 ใ€‘ En este momento, el caramelo en la olla pequeรฑa debe esta frio y el agua de la olla ya debe estar hirviendo, si es asi agrega la mezcla de la licuadora lentamente, colรณcale la tapa, y lleva a la vaporera con mucho cuidado para cocinar durante 60 minutos.

ใ€ STEP 4 ใ€‘ At this point, the caramel in the small pot should be cold and the water in the pot should already be boiling, if it is, add the blender mixture slowly, put the lid on, and carefully place it in the steamer to cook for 60 minutes.

ใ€ PASO 5 ใ€‘ Cumplidos los 60 minutos, apaga la cocina, espera a que enfrรญe todo, saca con cuidado la olla pequeรฑa o quesillera, y busca un plato bonito para emplatar. Coloca el plato sobre la quesillera y voltea rรกpidamente. Si todo saliรณ bien el quesillo se desprenderรก sin problema y habrรก mucho sirope de caramelo con un bonito y brillante color. Lleva al refrigerador hasta que se vaya a servir porque frรญo sabe mejor.

ใ€ STEP 5 ใ€‘ After 60 minutes, turn off the stove, wait for everything to cool down, carefully remove the small pot or quesillera, and find a nice plate for plating. Place the plate on top of the quesillera and quickly flip it over. If everything went well, the quesillo will come off without a problem and there will be plenty of caramel syrup with a nice, bright color. Place in the refrigerator until ready to serve because it tastes better cold.

Espero te hayas reido conmigo (o de mi) y a pesar de no tener fotos decentes del resultado, te aseguro 100% real no fake que estaba hermoso y delicioso.

Es una receta increรญble que gusta a todos y acompaรฑa muy bien ponquรฉs o tortas de masa seca. Y si hay niรฑos comensales, elimina el alcohol o solo agrega media copita y no paso nada.

I hope you laughed with me (or at me) and even though I don't have decent pictures of the result, I assure you 100% real not fake that it was beautiful and delicious.

It's an amazing recipe that everyone loves and goes great with ponquรฉs or dry dough cakes. And if there are children at the table, eliminate the alcohol or just add half a glass and nothing will happen.
