Heat break in a beautiful location

Well, dear ones? I hope you're doing well so far. I'd like to share my visit to the Hundred Islands Coffee Bar with you today, as it's a very nice spot, a relaxed and cozy place. The prices are okay so far. Not quite cheap, but not too expensive either. I would classify it as mid-range. I discovered this café by chance, on one of my many walks I finally stopped in, used the time and stayed there for a while to get through the heat better.

Here are a few impressions of the place and my delicious food and drinks.

A relaxing atmosphere is in the air.

I have chosen a place at the window but at the same time also a bit hidden in the corner so I could see the cakes in front. 😍

That was my view. To sit outside is also nice bit on this day it was too hot for me there.

I studied the menu and ordered two cold fruits shakes. One mango shake and one banana. Needed vitamins a lot because of the heat.

Both were delicious and I felt much better after. Phew, if it is too hot you really need to take care of yourself. I got a little brain frost but it was refreshing much.

I ordered a homemade apple pie. It was really special. The taste was great but not enough crumble dough. Also it's better to have apple cubes not slides of apples. Anyway I ate half of it. Next time I will try the carrot cake for sure.

A great combo it was: vanilla ice cream with warm apple pie. Hm, not toooo bad. 😜 Would you try it or what are you normally ordering when going to your café?

Hitze-Auszeit in einer wunderschönen Location

Na ihr Lieben? Ich hoffe euch geht es gut soweit. Ich möchte heute meinen Besuch in der "Hundred Islands Coffee Bar" mit euch teilen, da es ein sehr schönes Fleckchen ist, ein entspannter Ort und gemütlicher Platz. Die Preise sind soweit okay. Nicht ganz günstig, aber auch nicht zu teuer. Ich würde es als mittlere Preisklasse einstufen. Ich habe dieses Café durch Zufall entdeckt, auf einen meiner vielen Spaziergängen hielt ich dann schließlich mal an, nutze die Zeit und verweilte eine Zeit lang dort, um die Hitze besser überstehen zu können.

Hier nun ein paar Eindrücke von der Örtlichkeit und meinem leckeren Snack.

Es liegt eine entspannte Atmosphäre in der Luft.

Ich habe mir einen Platz am Fenster ausgesucht, aber gleichzeitig auch etwas versteckt in der Ecke, damit ich die Torten vorne sehen konnte. 😍

Das war meine Aussicht. Draußen zu sitzen ist auch schön, aber an diesem Tag war es mir dort zu heiß.

Ich studierte die Speisekarte und bestellte zwei kalte Fruchtshakes. Einen Mango-Shake und eine Banane. Wegen der Hitze brauchte ich viele Vitamine.

Beide waren lecker und ich fühlte mich danach viel besser. Puh, wenn es zu heiß ist, muss man wirklich auf sich aufpassen. Ich hatte ein bisschen Gehirnfrost, aber es war sehr erfrischend.

Ich habe einen hausgemachten Apfelkuchen bestellt. Der war wirklich etwas Besonderes. Der Geschmack war toll, aber nicht genug Streuselteig. Außerdem ist es besser, Apfelwürfel zu haben und keine Apfelscheiben. Jedenfalls habe ich die Hälfte davon gegessen. Das nächste Mal werde ich sicher den Karottenkuchen probieren.

Eine tolle Kombination war das: Vanilleeis mit warmem Apfelkuchen. Hm, gar nicht sooo schlecht. 😜 Würdest du das auch mal probieren oder was bestellst du normalerweise, wenn du in ein Café gehst?
