A Sumptuous Family Dinner At Food Haus Ala Fiesta

We finally back home last Sunday night after more than a week's stay in Manila, but I still have a lot of stories to share about our journeys and new experiences. I'll be starting to write them one by one during my available time. Last Saturday, we visited two of the popular attractions in Metro Manila. At night, we embarked on a new journey to look for a place to settle in for a while and feed our rumbling stomachs. We all seemed drained so we needed to recharge, especially my little nephew who fell asleep while going to Luneta Park.

After visiting Luneta Park and doing some photoshoots, we traced Kalaw Avenue in search of a place to dine. I was fed up eating fast food, so I asked my family if we could dine in a different place with different food. I was even looking for a vegetarian restaurant because I always felt full of eating meat every day. But it seems hard to find one in Manila. Unless I eat at small eateries.

Along the lane going to the UN Station, we stumbled upon a man offering a food menu to passersby. That's common nowadays to encourage prospective customers to dine in. The restaurant was in between fast food restaurants. My family liked to dine in at the fast food restaurant. Meanwhile, I was yearning for the soup which can be found at Food Haus Ala Fiesta. Since I was the wallet bearer, my decision was followed, lol.

The ambiance of the place was cozy and homey. The interior was simple and spacious. While ordering, my nephew was enjoying watching the Volleyball replay on the television even though he didn't understand the show, lol. He was playing the glass after sipping a small amount of water in it. As mentioned above, he was sleeping when we visited Luneta Park, but eventually woke up when he heard that we were looking for a place to eat dinner. It is obvious in his figure that he likes eating too. buyag ☺️

There was a variety of food ala fiesta. I've been yearning for hot soup, so that was the first thing I looked at the menu book. I spotted the bulalo or beef marrow stew and immediately included it in my order. My family wanted to eat lomi noodles so I added it too. Lastly, I wanted to add some dry food. I didn't like the vegetables, they were unreasonably pricey. My mother and I were deciding whether to buy bangus sisig or buttered chicken. But in the end, I chose the buttered chicken as I didn't like eating seafood at that time.

We ordered three kinds of food and we thought they were enough for four of us because they were served in big bowls, except with the chicken. They looked yummy and we all were excited to taste them.

My little nephew was impatient and wanted to eat already.

Surprisingly, he liked the taste of Lomi. He stopped throwing tantrums when he tasted it while watching his favorite show, Cocomelon.

So far, all food tasted good, especially the lomi and Bulalo. We were all satisfied with our simple dinner, and the little nephew enjoyed as well.

It was an amazing day full of adventures that ended with a delightful night. Happiness and satisfaction felt after the sumptuous dinner with the fam at Food Haus Ala Fiesta.
