Thank God It's Friday. #TGIF

It was the day I decided to bring to boys out to arcade because the eldest loved to collect the Pokémon stuff and the youngest loved to collect Ultraman cards. It was also good for them to wind down and to have some entertainment after 5 days of studying.

We went to the mall opposite us, called Aeon Alpha Angle and into the arcade there. After happily playing at the machines and successfully won the battles with cards given, we were hungry. Roaming around to decide what to eat, we finally decided to try out at the Pop.

POP MEALS

POP Meals restaurants are opened by a company consists of young people, aiming to open as many outlets as possible to reach out to people far and wide, promising us famous food at affordable price and to be easily accessible.

Actually the boys had asked few times before to dine here but somehow we did not get to. So we tried this round. This outlet here was still new and therefore, it has the opening promotion of buy 2 free 1, just the correct promo for 3 of us.

The banner was in Malay language because this is Malaysia, so let me teach you Malay language. 😁

The waiter told me only 10 types were in the promo.

Everything was using computer system to order so I took some time to understand the system.

I ordered:

1. Super creamy mac and cheese
2. Golden salted egg butter chicken
3. Salted buttermilk chicken
4. Iced lychee green tea
5. Iced mango lemonade

Total bill: RM40

The Place

The place looked so clean and well-ventilated. Perhaps we were early at 6pm, hence not many customers around. I actually love the place painted in yellow. It gave the bright sunny kind of feeling. Jovial and bubbly.

While the boys were waiting for food, they could not stop celebrating the cards they had just got from arcade machines.

Food had arrived.

Pop meals came handy to people because you just ate from the bowl provided. Hence, it is popular among young working adults when fast delicious food is needed. Or it comes handy for take-away too, less mess.

The mac and cheese was really lived up to its name. Super super creamy, loaded with two types of cheese. The boy's face litted up because he loved cheese.

After being stirred and mixed. Yums!

The buttermilk popcorn chicken rice dishes were delicious too. I tried to taste ti differentiate the difference between golden salted egg butter and salted egg buttermilk, maybe the golden one more salted egg. I was not too sure because I was not good in tasting. Haha.

The bowl of rice and popcorn chicken were the same, separated by the difference sauces. Myself and youngest son truly enjoyed our rice meal while the eldest enjoyed his Mac n Cheese.

The boys said they wanted to come again with the father, so next up, we would try more pasta selection.
