My commute to and from work is heavily traveled by different types of transportation, so much so that we even have the Arturo Michelena Airport, but I wasn't able to capture a photo of an airplane.

My commute to and from work is heavily traveled by different types of transportation, so much so that we even have the Arturo Michelena Airport, but I wasn't able to capture a photo of an airplane.

That's why, to participate, I'm bringing you two photographs of a very common mode of transportation where I live: The motorcycle.

Traveling by motorcycle is our most frequently used mode of transportation for workers who want to get to work early. I use it mostly when I have to leave work early in the morning and regular buses aren't yet available. I also use this mode of transportation when I leave work very late at night and need to get home; at night, regular transportation is very difficult.

We also use motorcycles when we need to run an urgent errand; it's very useful. However, I prefer public transportation: taxis or buses. Of course, my greatest dream is that my husband and I will soon be able to have our own transportation. It's a dream we hope to see come true in the very near future.

I'm leaving you, friends, with these photos I took after a long day at work. I'm going to rest, take care of my children, and sleep before returning to work. Thank you for reading.

Saludos cordiales, amigos y amantes de la fotografía. Es un placer, una alegría, estar aquí compartiendo estas imágenes que forman parte del concurso de fotografía auspiciado por @friendlymoose sobre la temática de transporte.

Mi camino de ida y regreso al trabajo es muy transitado por diferentes tipos de transporte, tanto así que hasta tenemos el aeropuerto Arturo Michelena, pero no me fue posible capturar la imagen de un avión.

Es por ello que para participar les traigo dos fotografías de un modo de transporte muy común en el sitio donde resido: La moto.

Viajar en moto es nuestro sistema de transporte más utilizado para los trabajadores que deseamos llegar temprano a nuestro trabajo. Yo lo utilizo mas que todo cuando me toca salir de madrugada a mi trabajo y aún no están disponibles los buses comunes. También utilizo este medio de transporte al salir muy tarde del trabajo en la noche y es necesario llegar a la casa; ya que, en la noche es muy difícil el transporte común.

También utilizamos las motos cuando necesitamos una diligencia que requiera urgencia, es muy útil; sin embargo, me gusta más el transporte común: taxis o busetas y por supuesto mi gran ilusión es que pronto mi esposo y yo podamos tener nuestro propio transporte, es un sueño que esperamos ver materializado en un futuro muy cercano.

Los dejo amigos con estas fotos tomadas por mí después de un largo día laboral, me iré a descansar, cuidar a mis hijos y dormir para regresar nuevamente a mi trabajo. Gracias por leerme.
