Hoverfly on Yellow Flowers

Seeing an insect amongst flowers that match the same color really creates its own visual appeal. Also, hoverflies tend to be relatively still for longer periods compared to many other insects I encounter. This serves to make my works a little bit easier, as my subject and background are already working together. While they might not be thinking much about me they are also working to my benefit as a human in doing what nature does, pollination, spreading and fertilizing so that we can all still be here on this planet enjoying another day.
