These days, I have once again been reminded of how beautiful the place is where I am currently residing. I am more than happy to have been able to set up my base here on the west coast of Japan. And as I have said so many times before, I feel extremely comfortable here.

I know I'm repeating myself, but being close to the mountains and the sea does me good, and I am extremely grateful that although I live in the city, I am not far from nature. It may not be untouched, but it still manages to impress and enchant.

Whether I'm standing here by this lake, gazing at the mountains and watching the sun go down, or spending the next day by the sea, which couldn't be more inviting in this glorious sunny weather. Although it's actually autumn now, it's still warm and summery, and it's just fun to be out and about in the fresh air.

And back to the topic of sunsets. Of course, they are just as impressivewhen standinh by the seaside, which is why I am drawn back here again and again. Then I wave goodbye to the sun as it sinks into the water on the horizon at the end of the day. Each time with a touch of melancholy, even though I know that this spectacle could repeat itself tomorrow.

Oh yes, sometimes it doesn't take much to feel good. And it is precisely this good feeling that I will end this evening with. It is time to call it a day. Tomorrow is a new morning, and it will certainly have its beautiful moments too. I am quite sure of that...

DEUTSCH

In diesen Tagen konnte ich mich mal wieder davon überzeugen, wie schön doch der Flecken Erde ist, in dem ich in diesen Tagen residieren darf. Ich bin mehr als froh, dass ich hier an der japanischen Westküste mein Quartier aufschlagen durfte und wie ich schon so oft erzählt habe, ich fühle mich hier auch äußerst wohl.

Ich weiß, dass ich mich wiederhole, aber ich die Nähe zu Bergen und Meer tut mir gut und ich bin äußerst dankbar, dass ich zwar in der Stadt lebe, es aber nicht weit habe, bis ich in der Natur bin. Diese ich zwar nicht unberührt aber schafft es trotzdem zu überzeugen und zu bezaubern.

Ob ich nun hier an diesem See stehe, meinen Blick auf die Berge schwenke und der untergehenden Sonne zuschaue, oder einen Tag später am Meer bin, welches bei diesem tollen Sonnenwetter nicht einladender sein könnte. Obwohl wir es ja nun eigentlich Herbst haben, ist es immer noch sommerlich warm und es macht einfach Spaß, draußen an der frischen Luft unterwegs zu sein.

Und noch einmal zurück zum Thema Sonnenuntergang. Am Meer wirkt dieser natürlich auch, und deshalb zieht es mich immer wieder hierher, um am Ende des Tage der am Horizont im Wasser versinkenden Sonne zuzuwinken. Jedes Mal mit ein Quentchen Wehmut, auch wenn ich natürlich weiß, dass dieses Schauspiel sich vielleicht morgen schon wiederholen könnte.

Ach ja, machmal braucht es nicht viel, um sich gut zu fühlen. Und mit genau diesem guten Gefühl werde ich den heutigen Tag ausklingen lassen und mich in die Nacht zurückziehen. Morgen ist ein neuer Tag, und der wird mit Sicherheit auch seine schönen Momente haben. Da bin ich mir ganz sicher...
