[ENG-SPN] The Mudejar treasure of Castile / El tesoro mudéjar de Castilla
If, among many other things, Aragon stands out for a fabulous heritage heritage, based on a style of architecture that was established and beautifying a good part of its most emblematic and picturesque cities and towns, the Mudejar, the same can be said of many places settled along length and breadth of a Plateau, the Castilian one, which, metaphorically and comparatively speaking, was also a land of pioneers, adventurers and anonymous master masons, who contributed, all together, to make it great with their invaluable contributions.
In this sense, one of the great capitals of the Castilian Mudejar style, located in the heart of Valladolid that borders another picturesque community, such as Segovia, is a charming and monumental town, called Olmedo. Precisely, where one of the greatest playwrights of the so-called Spanish Golden Age, the prolific writer, Don Lope de Vega y Carpio, set the tragic adventures of one of the Spanish knights, who, although he did not reach the same levels of popularity as Cervantes' Don Quixote, one could well say, was behind him: the knight of Olmedo.

Great cities with stunning architecture. They might look ancient but they are good nonetheless. Thanks for sharing. Happy Sunday.
Architectures and at the same time, works of art that were made to last. Thank you for your comment and a happy Sunday to you too.
Aragon has a very beautiful architecture
The walls looks so strong and big
It’s as big as a temple
Spain as a whole and by default, in its diversity, has an extraordinary Historical, Artistic and Cultural Heritage that is a legacy, a heritage that we must maintain and care for as it deserves.
