[ENG-SPN] Hieronymus Bosch: The Enigma That Counts Through Time / El Bosco: El Enigma que Cotiza en el Tiempo

It is likely that all art historians would agree that, when dealing with such an enigmatic figure, Hieronymus Bosch, the 15th-century Flemish painter better known as El Bosco, left a personal mark in his enigmatic paintings. Far from diminishing with the passage of time, his vitality has only increased in value to the point that, in the 21st century, museums that possess any of his paintings are guaranteed not only an incalculable fortune but also the prestige of being among the greats, in a way very similar to what happens on the stock market with large corporations.

So much so, that even his numerous imitators, surely aware of this, also attempted to reproduce many of the enigmatic archetypes that characterized his imagery, which, due to its surprising themes, could be considered the work of someone ahead of his time.

Posiblemente, todos los historiadores del Arte coincidan, cuando de una personalidad tan enigmática se trata, que Hieronimus Bosch, pintor flamenco del siglo XV, más conocido como El Bosco, fue alguien, que, en sus enigmáticos cuadros, dejó una Marca personal, cuya vitalidad, lejos de menguar con el paso de los tiempos, se ha revalorizado hasta el punto de que, en pleno siglo XXI, los museos que posean alguno de sus cuadros, tienen garantizada, no sólo una incalculable fortuna, sino también, la relevancia de situarse entre los grandes, poniéndose en práctica algo muy similar a lo que ocurre en Bolsa con las grandes corporaciones.

Tal es así, que incluso sus numerosos imitadores, seguramente teniendo cierta constancia de ello, intentaron también reproducir buena parte de los enigmáticos arquetipos que caracterizaban una imaginería, que, por su sorprendente temática, podríamos considerar hecha por un adelantado a su tiempo.
