Possibly Madrid has, on the street dedicated to the figure of a king, Alfonso more classicist bill, that singular, artistic and eminently cultural landmark, to which UNESCO awarded a few years ago, with all its merit, the unmistakable title of Paseo de la Luz, which today, adorned with the superb beauty of the Retiro Park, It dazzles how many visitors come to our city daily.

Buildings, many of them, that also attracted, at the time, the attention of singular characters who were once ambassadors of creativity, such as the Leonese writer, Concha Espina, and who still keep secrets in their enigmatic interiors. and mysteries of times where history and legend were confused, illuminating, however, something as remarkable as, of course, fantasy. Perhaps for this reason, having the opportunity to see them reflected in the peaceful waters of the fountains and ponds of the most monumental of Madrid's parks, leaves in the soul sensations that could be considered, without a doubt, as unforgettable and romantic metaphysics.

Posiblemente tenga Madrid, en la calle dedicada a la figura de un rey, Alfonso XII, uno de los más bellos exponentes de un tipo muy particular de arquitectura, fantástica y modernista, cuya meritoria singularidad, revaloriza, junto con otros memorables edificios anteriores y de factura más clasicista, ese singular hito, artístico y eminentemente cultural, al que la UNESCO otorgó hace unos años, con todo el merecimiento, el título inconfundible de Paseo de la Luz, que hoy día, engalanado con la soberbia belleza del Parque del Retiro, deslumbra a cuantos visitantes llegan diariamente a nuestra ciudad.

Edificios, muchos de ellos, que, además, atrajeron, en su momento, la atención de singulares personajes que en su día fueron embajadores de la creatividad, como la escritora leonesa, Concha Espina y que guardan, todavía, en sus enigmáticos interiores, secretos y misterios de unos tiempos donde la historia y la leyenda se confundían, alumbrando, no obstante, algo tan notable, como es, desde luego, la fantasía. Quizás por ello, tener la oportunidad de verlos reflejados en las pacíficas aguas de las fuentes y los estanques del más monumental de los parques de Madrid, deja en el alma sensaciones, que, podrían considerarse, sin duda alguna, como de una inolvidable y romántica metafísica.
