Roofs at Night - Friendlymoose Photo Contest New Round: ROOFS
Hello people!
Here I am one more time joining the new weekly Friendlymoose photo contest and this is my seventh participation although I also participated in the previous version one, so more many times! It's a cool contest (thanks @friendlymoose for creating it!) and we just have to share at least a photo related to the proposed theme each week.
And this week I have decided to participate again because I like the theme. It's original and nice, and it's about "roofs". It seems a simple topic, but it's inspiring. How many times have we climbed up to a place to admire the terraces and rooftops of nearby and not-so-nearby buildings? We contemplate the urban views, not just the natural ones of the sea and mountains, and we imagine the lives of all those who live there, under those many rooftops that also deserve to be admired, and in this case, the protagonists of our photos.
Such as this, so, here my cool contest photography:

Roofs At Night In A Small Town
An old street in a small local town, a quiet and peaceful street where most of the cars are parked and not moving. We peer in, this time at night, sheltered by the glow of the streetlights, whose light bounces off many of the house facades, creating a strange warm-colored effect, while the sky darkens between a few prominent clouds.
And the variety of houses and their roofs stands out: there are old houses with sloping roofs and many with horizontal terraces where people also live, especially in summer. All around, there are other, taller buildings, so tall that you can't even see their terraces or roofs.
I had the opportunity to look beyond, into the distance, at the countless roofs that welcome us, at that moment when night takes over the entire environment, the contrasts become more intense, and all we can do is look at the lights and all those houses of any city or town, where we can look a little higher, and thus realize that the roofs shelter many lives below.

Thanks for reading! Have a cool and nice day.

Yeah urban lights are intense really and as streets are narrow light seems to be condensed!

Rooftops provide great views and its really neat to see the different types of them. Can be a small town line of roofs (like yours) doesnt need to be a large city. Your photo at night is simply amazing love how the street lights enhance it.
Take care Amiga. One day closer to weekend. Note to myself stop counting, jaja.

Thanks! I was surprised by the lights effect really, all look weird but nice at the same time. And we used to think in big cities but small ones might be charming 😏
Jaja yeah one day less, weekend is closer every day!

I didn't know about this photo contest, I could join... Your photos are always inspiring and especially the way you write about them. I love lights at night, especially when I see them in the distance..
Thank you so much! 🤗 Sure you can join in! Just check the profile of @friendlymoose who is the creator of this photo contest, it's very simple just to share some photo related to the week theme proposed and share it also as a comment in that main post.
