Monte Generoso

For today a part of the Lugano Prealps in the Ticino canton. I was in this region for a few days. Amazing views on clear days spectacular views even to the Alps stretching to the Mont Blanc region.
You can arrive on the top with the cogwheel train from Capolago or on on of the various trails of different difficulty levels wind through beautiful nature. This time I decided to take the train.

The views of Lake Lugano from the summit of Monte Generoso are absolutely spectacular! It’s amazing that on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Mont Blanc region. Ticino is truly a gem for hikers and nature lovers alike.

I love places like that where the view makes you forget your phone for a while and just breathe. Last summer I had a similar morning in the mountains, coffee in hand, jacket tied around my waist, just watching the light change over the ridges. Taking the cogwheel train sounds like the perfect choice, especially when you want to enjoy the scenery instead of rushing. Earlier today I was reading royal air maroc reviews while sorting travel ideas, and your photos instantly made me want to be somewhere quiet and green like this.
