I am Mileidys Araujo, a Venezuelan migrant, currently Colombia, I have lived here for 5 years, I am 28 years old, in Venezuela I became a nurse, I specialized in kidney patients on hemodialysis, I loved what I did, I came to think that this occupation was my life mission, to help the sick people made me feel good, I thought that God had sent me for such a beautiful task. But it was not like that due to the economy of my country, I had to leave and reside here, the Colombian brothers received me in a good way, I have had the happiness of meeting good people with good feelings, kind and who have extended their hand to me. Being here it has been difficult to get a job from what I studied since I am not from this country there are many protocols it makes me feel a little sad but we have to move on.

Hola comunidad de hive. Me presento a ustedes y espero compartirles un poco de mí a través de esta plataforma. Soy Mileidys Araujo migrante venezolana actualmente Colombia ya tengo 5 años residencia da acá tengo 28 años, en Venezuela realicé la profesión de enfermera me especialicé en pacientes renales en hemodiálisis amaba lo que ejercía llegue a pensar que esa ocupación era mi misión de vida ayudar a las personas enfermas me hacía sentir bien, pensaba que Dios me había enviado para esa tarea tan hermosa. Pero no fue así por circunstancia de la economía de mi país me tocó salir me residencie acá los hermanos colombianos me recibieron de buena manera, he tenido la dicha de conocer buenas personas de buenos sentimientos, amables y que me han tendido la mano. Estando acá ha sido difícil obtener empleo de lo que estudié ya que no soy de este país son muchos protocolos me hace sentir un poco triste pero tenemos que seguir adelante.

I like to read, music, cooking and makeup relax me, I love nature, it can become a wonderful escape. I discovered that it helps me think better and it is pleasure for my mind. I am married, I have a 9-year- old child, it is my motivation to move forward every day, being in this country has given me many life essons, I have learned in many circumstances that I would like to share through this platform. Since I arrived in this country, my second home has not been easy, but thank God for placing good people in my path, it was very helpful. I worked for months in a restaurant as a waitress, they treated me badly and with poor pay, but that helped me for a while. money, then I met a very special lady who helped me a lot and taught me in all aspects she owned a restaurant her name is doña nely ;s what I call her, I had no idea how to cook for so many people she taught me I learned so much She was sick and she entrusted me with her business, which I managed for a while. I worked for her for almost 4 years when my mother died. She helped me a lot emotionally. She is 60 years old. We are friends. She gives me a lot of advice, which I accept with much love and respect.

Me gusta leer, la música, la cocina y el maquillaje me relajan, la naturaleza me encanta puede convertirse en un escape maravilloso descubrí que me ayuda a pensar mejor y para mi mente es placer. Soy casada tengo un niño de 9 años es mi motivación para avanzar cada día, estar en este país me ha dado muchas lecciones de vida he aprendido en muchas circunstancias que quisiera compartir a través de esta plataforma. Desde que llegue a éste país mi segundo hogar no ha sido fácil, pero gracias a Dios por colocar buenas personas en mi camino fue de mucha ayuda, trabajé meses en un restaurante como mesera me trataron mal y con mala paga pero me ayudó un tiempo ese dinero, luego conocí a una señora muy especial que me ayudó mucho y me enseñó en todos los aspectos era dueña de un restaurante se llama doña nely así le llamo, yo no tenía ni la menor idea como cocinar para tantas personas ella me enseñó aprendí tanto que ella enfermo y ella me confió su negocio el cual saque adelante por un tiempo trabajé para ella casi 4 años cuando murió mi mamá ella me ayudó mucho emocionalmente ella tiene 60 años somos amigas me regala muchos consejos los cuales acepto con mucho amor y respeto..

I am married, I have been married for 8 years, but I have been in a relationship with my husband for 12 years, we met very young but since we met we knew that this story was going to be long. Every day I ask God to keep us together, currently there are very few couples who have a lasting relationship I would like to discover what our grandparents' secret was to last so long in a marriage without losing respect and love. During all this time as a couple we have learned something from each other, going through circumstances where we have had nothing and come to have everything, starting from 0 on two occasions there in Venezuela when we started and here in Colombia.

Soy casada tengo 8años de casada pero de relación con mi esposo 12 años, nos conocimos muy jóvenes pero desde que nos conocimos supimos que está historia iba a ser larga todos los días le pido a Dios que nos mantenga unidos, actualmente son muy pocas las parejas que tienen una relación duradera me gustaría descubrir cuál era el secreto de nuestros abuelos para durar tanto en un matrimonio sin perder el respeto y el amor. Durante todo este tiempo como pareja hemos aprendido algo de cada uno, atravesando circunstancias donde no hemos tenido nada y pasar a tenerlo todo, empezando de 0 en dos ocasiones allá en Venezuela cuando empezamos y acá en Colombia.

When we made the decision to start from 0 here, we knew it would be hard but perseverance is the key. We started eating only bread and sleeping on the floor. Currently, thanks to God, we are much better, continuing in the fight to improve every day, we only have each other, we live alone here, our parents and family are still in Venezuela, whom we help in whatever is in our hands. In this country we are only my child and me.

A friend told me about this platform where one can share their experiences, she knows that I like to talk and share a lot. I hope you like to know a little about me, our relatives are far away, I really have very few friends because my husband and I worked long hours and we hardly have time to share, however when we have space we invite friends to share.

Cuando tomamos la decisión de empezar de 0 acá, supimos que iba ser duro pero la perseverancia es la clave comenzamos comiendo sólo pan y durmiendo en el suelo. Ya actualmente ya gracias a Dios estamos mucho mejor siguiendo en la lucha para mejorar cada día, sólo nos tenemos uno al otro vivimos solos acá nuestros padres y familia están aún en Venezuela a los cuales ayudamos en lo que está en nuestra manos. En este país solo somos el mi niño y yo.

Una amistad me hablo de esta plataforma dónde uno puede compartir sus vivencias, ella sabe que me gusta hablar y compartir mucho. Espero que les agrade conocer un poco de mí, nuestros familiares se encuentran lejos tengo muy pocas amistades en realidad porque mi esposo y yo trabajábamos muchas horas casi no tenemos tiempo para compartir, sin embargo cuando tenemos espacio invitamos a amistades para compartir.

I am passionate about helping others my husband often tells me that helping too much is also bad, I like to be honest and authentic I hate lies I like to make friends because I believe that each person has our own story to tell from which others can learn something . Many times my life reaches a point where it is very routine and I consider that writing helps to express what I feel and think and knowing that I can share it with someone else is good because sometimes there is not always someone by your side for you to tell them something or Not only that, but sometimes they don't understand you or don't know how to listen to you, I love that there are platforms like these.

Me apasiona ayudar a los demás mi esposo muchas veces me dice que ayudar demasiado también es malo, me gusta ser sincera y auténtica odio las mentiras me gusta hacer amistades porque considero que cada persona tenemos nuestra propia historia que contar las cuales los demás podemos aprender algo. Muchas veces mi vida llega a un punto donde es muy rutinaria y considero que escribir ayuda a expresar lo que siento y pienso y saber que lo puedo compartir con alguien más es bueno porque a veces no siempre hay alguien a tu lado para tu contarles algo o no solo eso, también a veces no te entienden o no te saben escuchar, me encanta que existan plataformas así como estas.

I teach him to cook, clean and wash the dishes so that he learns independence. A son is a very big responsibility and for that reason I made the decision to only have him, he is almost a pre-adolescent as soon as I feel that he is beginning his education.

La vida día con día trae retos diferentes donde afrontarlos nos enseña de lo que somos capaces de lograr, el ser mamá es desafiante y un trabajo arduo ya que la crianza que le ofreces a tu hijo y los valores que les enseñes de allí depende el tipo de ser humano que será para la sociedad espero estar haciendo un buen trabajo así como mi madre lo hizo conmigo cada día le enseño a mi hijo lo importante que es decir la verdad nadie muere por ello, que lo más gratificante es trabajar honestamente por tus metas y que la mujer es el tesoro más grande del planeta que debe ser caballeroso, respetarlas y amarlas. Le enseño a cocinar, limpiar y lavar los platos para que aprenda la independencia. Un hijo es una responsabilidad muy grande y por esa razón tome la decisión de tenerlo solamente a él, ya casi es un pre- adolescente apenas siento que está comenzando su educación.

The path that I have already traveled has taught me the value of one as a woman, where if you are a wife, mother, daughter and sister you have to find a balance to deal with everything without losing your north, it is like a magic that God gives to women . That's why I love nature, it recharges your batteries and writing is like having a conversation with yourself, it helps me to deal with everything first with God's help. Currently I took a break at work, my husband is still working, we both worked in the same place in a beverage distributor, he is still there I retired because I already felt that I had to take a break, it was affecting me mentally.

El camino que ya he recorrido me ha enseñado el valor de uno como mujer, dónde si eres esposa, madre, hija y hermana tienes que hallar un equilibrio para lidiar con todo sin perder tu norte es como una magia que Dios le da a la mujer. Por eso me encanta la naturaleza te recarga las baterías y el escribir es como tener una plática con uno mismo me ayuda a poder con todo primeramente con la ayuda de Dios. Actualmente me tomé un descanso laboralmente, mi esposo aún continúa trabajando ambos trabajábamos en el mismo lugar en una Comercializadora de bebidas el continúa allí yo me retiré porque ya sentía que tenía que tener un respiro me estaba afectando mentalmente.

I love animals but I especially like cats, I have a kitten called Michi, I adopted her when I just got here, she was very baby, she is already 4 human years old, I love her, she is affectionate but with a bad temper, she is very spoiled and capricious, my son gave her She takes care of herself, sleeps with her, I don't want to think about the day she leaves, I'm going to cry a lot, I love her very much, she's one of the family.

Me encantan los animales pero en especial me gustan los gatos, tengo una gatita se llama michi la adopte cuando apenas llegue acá estaba muy bebé ya tiene 4 años humanos la amo es cariñosa pero de mal carácter es muy consentida y caprichosa, mi hijo se la cuida mucho duerme con ella, no quiero pensar en el día que le toque partir voy a llorar mucho la amo mucho es una más de la familia.
