Leonora's 80th Birthday
Time cannot be stopped, as well as growing old in this world. I often hear and read, no one is permanent in this world; All of us are travellers that soon each journey will end. Even so, everyone wishes to stay longer, especially if it's loved ones. If not a family, of course, a partner in life that will stay together and longer.
A mother, this is quite emotional for me. This time, I'll be addressing myself as the author which talks about what I'm feeling including the thoughts of the children. You know, it's kind of sad seeing our parents grow older which is a stupid thought from me. Well, it can't be helped since a parent is the one who helped us to live and survive. From their sacrifices from the day we were born and from everything they've given to us. Who wouldn't be sad or afraid of it knowing, even though we don't hope for the passing?
Though everything has an ending, we all hope that spending time with our loved ones will last longer. It's hard to imagine where to find a home when living in this world without a parent. Just by thinking of it to happen it is somehow kind of lonely deep inside.
Despite the fact about a life like a leaf in the tree that will soon dry. All we can do is to treasure the time and enjoy the moment while we still can. We don't always have time in this world. So cherishing and building memories will help us to remember what it means to be happy in the future.

From a daughter:
Very grateful to God for my mother's life that reaches this age, for He knows that we still need our mother, for she is the one who binds our family together.
—---------------------------
Even though each of us has a family of our own. It's pretty clear what a daughter wished for God. An explainable happiness we all feel when a family is together. It may not always be because of circumstances and maybe because of priorities. At least, we wish to have that time to gather with our family, obviously the loved ones.
For sure, a parent's birthday is not wishing to have a grand one or maybe a table full of food and a venue full of crowd. It is about seeing her/his children doing better. A parent's wish when a child is leaving in his/her care is to have a life full of happiness. So that many years that passed seeing his/her children are doing better, healthy and happy. I know that's one thing a parent wishes for on his/her birthday.

Such a touching and heartfelt post 💖 The love and gratitude for your mother truly shine through a beautiful tribute to her 80th birthday.
Beautiful at 80 ✨💃, Happy Birthday to her. And seriously, even if we know talaga na we will all end up in "there" di pa rin talaga maiiwasang malungkot at mag overthink especially about our parents. I'm having a lot of sad thoughts about it. I'm not ready and I will never be ready. I want to be with them until we all can't walk anymore 🥺🌼
We should be happy to reach this age. It’s truly a blessing from God.
