Hello to everyone in this community! My grandmother recently had a birthday, and to celebrate, my uncles decided to throw a potluck. Due to health problems, my grandmother can't eat many sweets, so her youngest son (my uncle) asked her what she wanted to eat, and she said "mimosas," which are a type of empanada or pastry filled with vegetables and cheese. So, we attended the gathering, where a considerable amount of mimosas were made. There were way too many! And best of all, they were delicious. My grandmother was quite happy eating them 😊

Her oldest daughter, @pinina (my mother), decorated the space for her, as well as the pastries, which were filled with soursop, just as my grandmother wanted (she ate a little 😅). My mother makes beautiful cakes, and the decorations on them looked spectacular. You can see some of her work on her blog 😌 On the other hand, I took the opportunity to talk to my grandmother, where she taught me how to play Mahjong over her phone. She can spend hours playing! 😳

My grandmother doesn't like taking pictures, but I sneakily took a few, although I think she caught me 😬 It was a pleasant evening where we all tried to make my grandmother comfortable, playing her favorite music and being by her side on such a special day for us 🎂✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Hace poco mi abuela estuvo de cumpleaños y para celebrarlo, mis tíos decidieron realizar una comelona. Por problemas de salud, mi abuela no puede comer mucho dulce, así que su hijo menor (mi tío), le preguntó que quería comer y ella le dijo "mimosas", las cuales son una especie de empanadas o pasteles, rellenos de vegetales y queso. De ese modo, acudimos a la reunión en donde se elaboró una cantidad considerable de mimosas ¡Eran demasiadas! Y lo mejor, estaban deliciosas. Mi abuela estaba bastante contenta comiéndolas 😊

Su hija mayor @pinina (mi madre), le hizo la decoración del espacio al igual que los pasteles, los cuales estaban rellenos de guanábana, como mi abuela quería (comió un poquito 😅). Mi madre hace pasteles muy hermosos y la decoración de estos, se veía espectacular, pueden ver algunos de sus trabajos en su blog 😌 Por otro lado, yo aproveché de hablar con mi abuela, en donde me enseñó un poco a jugar Mahjong a través del teléfono ¡Puede pasar horas jugando! 😳

A mi abuela no le gusta tomarse fotografías, pero furtivamente le tomé unas cuantas, aunque creo que me descubrió 😬 Fue una noche agradable en donde todos procuramos que mi abuela estuviese cómoda, poniendo su música favorita y estando a su lado en un día tan especial para nosotros 🎂✨
