Mi amigo Antonio, mi mejor amigo desde preescolar, esta publicación está dedicada a él, quien me ha acompañado en mis logros cada vez que ha tenido la oportunidad y ahora me da la alegría de ser parte de los suyos y estar en primera fila para verlo lograr algo que anheló durante años: ser médico. Recuerdo las noches en vela en las que, mientras estudiaba, él y yo hablábamos de cómo nos veíamos en el futuro. Por eso escribo esto con tanta emoción que no puedo evitar ponerme emotiva, ya que ambos luchamos tanto para lograr lo que tanto anhelábamos. No podíamos ser más diferentes, incluso en la profesión que elegimos, pero como el equilibrio perfecto, nunca nos distanciamos, sino que nos complementamos. 😌

A unos meses antes de su graduación, toda su generación decidió hacer algo que ya es común en todas las profesiones cuando se acerca la fecha de obtención del título: un acto de entrega de camisas. Este consiste en entregar a cada uno de los graduados que saldrán de esta corte, una camisa con el logo que ellos mismos recolectaron para ser representados y un emblema que los caracterizará. En esta oportunidad, mi amigo estuvo acompañado por su madre, quien también es como una madre para mí desde muy pequeña, porque todos estos años de amistad solo nos han convertido en familia; y también, por mí, porque una noche sin esperarlo, recibí su maravillosa invitación para asistir y acompañarlo en esta celebración y yo, por mi parte, no podría estar más feliz de poder asistir con él y ser parte de su felicidad.

A few months before their graduation, their entire graduating class decided to do something that is now common in all professions when they are close to the date of obtaining the degree: An act of delivery of shirts.... This consists of giving to each of the next graduating class that will leave this court, a shirt with the logo that they themselves collected to be represented and an emblem that will characterize them. In this opportunity my friend was accompanied by his mother, who is also like a mother to me since I was very little, because all these years of friendship have only made us family; and also, by me, because one night without expecting it, I received his wonderful invitation to attend and accompany him in this celebration and I, for my part, could not be happier to be able to attend with him and be part of his happiness.

Celebré con él esta noche, su espíritu inquebrantable a pesar de los obstáculos y su fortaleza y positividad ante tantas adversidades. Sé que aún no es su ceremonia de graduación, pero si esto ya fue emocionante, no puedo imaginar la enorme felicidad que sentiré cuando finalmente vea en sus manos ese merecido título por tanta dedicación y, por supuesto, en medio de todo eso, la gratitud por la amistad de tantos años que nos ha permitido compartir tantas alegrías. 🥺

El evento se celebró durante toda la noche en el espacio al aire libre de un hotel y todo estaba bellamente decorado. El ambiente era agradable y se respiraba mucha emoción y orgullo, ya que muchos padres, familiares y amigos acompañaban a cada uno de los futuros médicos. Después de recibir sus camisetas, nos tomamos algunas fotos, disfrutamos de la música y de todo ese maravilloso momento. ¡Estoy deseando que llegue su ceremonia de graduación! 🥳✨

I celebrated with him tonight, his unbreakable spirit despite the obstacles and for staying strong and positive even with so many adversities. The event was held throughout the night in the outdoor space of a hotel and everything was beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was friendly and there was nothing but excitement and pride as there were many parents, family and friends accompanying each of the soon-to-be doctors. After they were given their shirts, we took some pictures, enjoyed the music and the whole wonderful moment, I can't wait for their graduation ceremony! 🥳✨
