My new Chinese friend.

1. In the first photo, it was a very fun day, where I laughed a lot with my coworkers—the other cashiers—and my friend Ama. She is the daughter of one of the Chinese workers at the business. So she offered to take a picture, and I agreed. It had been a long time since I felt good enough to take pictures, so it was a special moment.

2. This photo is of some "tattoos" that Ama and I got.

3. The third one is of a coworker—Pierina—and Ama. Taking advantage of the fact that the bosses weren’t looking. 😂

4. In the fourth one, it's Marian, Ama, and me—I peeked into the photo to mess with them. I was looking for pictures where Ama wasn’t making funny faces, but that’s just how she is.

5. In the fifth photo, I was walking down the hall, ran into Ama, and took a picture with my phone. I think by then I was allowed to use my phone at work.

2. Esta foto es de unos "tattoos" que nos hicimos Ama y yo.

4. En la cuarta estamos Marian, Ama y yo -yo me asomé en la foto para echarles broma-. Estaba buscando fotos en las cuales Ama no hiciera muecas graciosas, pero eso es simplemente como ella es.

5. En la quinta foto, yo venía por el pasillo, me encontré con Ama y nos tomé una foto con mi teléfono. Creo que ya para ese entonces se me permitía usar mi teléfono en el trabajo.
