Merry Christmas! (2022.12.24)

We (my brother, my Harris's hawk and me) spend today together in Tiszasüly, Hungary.

This Christmas is not white, so there is no snow today. The temperature is around 10 °C. And even the sun is shining a little bit.

We bought a nut roll for today. This is a traditional Christmas food in our country (in Hungary). This weight of this nut roll is 350 g, and it has 50% nut filling.

It was delicious.

Of course we heat the room. We have enough wood. The fire is started a few minutes ago. This is why I wear my coat on the photo above.

We do not have a Christmas tree this Christmas. At least not in this house. Tomorrow (on 2022.12.25) we will visit our father in Diósd, Hungary. Probably he have a Christmas tree.

Yes. The plans changed a little bit. He planned to spend the Christmas somewhere else, but he changed his mind. Today we talked to him on the phone. We wished him a Merry Christmas. He invited us for a lunch tomorrow.

So we will spend the Christmas together with our father. At least the tomorrow.

How great is that your father decided finally to invite you for christmas !! Ido really hope you had a beautiful day ! 😊
I don't have a christmas tree and my children are happy to come and have a time together in family, they don't mind ornaments or such, there is only the pleasure to be together, even with no christmas gifts 😉

The wood burning stove is key! We have one here at my parents house as well. Without that it would cost so much more to heat the house.
