Today I was lucky. At the edge of the forest I wanted to photograph the starlings that had flown in, but I couldn't get any closer to them. They kept flying away. I hid behind a tree and watched them, hoping that they would fly closer to me.
I didn't move, waiting for the starlings to fly up, when out of the corner of my eye I saw a large bird flying up to the tree I was hiding behind. I thought it would fly past, but the bird settled on a branch of a nearby tree.
I looked out carefully and saw that it was a grey crow. Usually these birds appear very rarely in these places and it is very difficult to get closer to them.
Only once, while walking through the forest, I came to a dacha area. On its outskirts I saw two flocks of gray crows, about 20 individuals each. They were calmly walking along the road along which the owners of dachas drove in cars.
Only later did I learn that people going to their dachas often brought food with them, so the birds waited to be fed.
The grey crow sitting on the branch did not see me at first, but the sound of the camera shutter attracted its attention. It immediately turned its head upon seeing me, flapped its wings and flew to the other side of the river.
Attractive crow what a great vantage point being able to photograph clearly in tree above.
Thanks you very much. Glad you liked it.
