Testing out Nikon 180-600mm

I upgraded my Nikon 200-500mm lens to the Z Mount 180-600mm lens and took it to Carburn Park on the Bow River today to test it out. The lens is a monster, in a good way. It is all internal zoom, so it is always the same length no matter what focal length I'm at and has a great range. It can also focus much closer than its predecessor; I had a sparrow jump out of the grass and was able to get some nice shots. Later on a little juvenile black-capped chickadee was hopping its way towards me on the path, and I was able to get a nice one just a few feet in front of me. It did well tracking birds in flight; I think with more practice it can do even better.
