Robin on a Branch

I saw this bird at a bit of a distance; I thought the view of this robin perched on a bare branch against the white sky looked interesting. It looked completely exposed and out in the open, but I think this robin was trying to have a good vantage point, being positioned on the highest branch. It started to sing its song, whistling into the open, perhaps calling out to a mate. The isolated view made me hope that the robin had a mate and would be reunited with them soon.
