Still in Random Motion
Birds can be unpredictable (from the human standpoint) and may suddenly appear out of nowhere then remain visible for only a few seconds before flying off without so much as saying hello. While the right gear, setting, and location all greatly contribute to the quality of the photograph, sometimes lady luck and good timing play a big role.

I found this crow in an urban setting. The shot is blurry, but I like the way it captured the crow’s wings as if they were disintegrating in the air. I barely had time to raise the camera and the motion blurriness is visible.
I was recently admiring the mountains when I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and quickly raised my camera as the seagull flew by. I didn't have time to frame it. I just pointed and shot from the hip, in a manner of speaking.

Sometimes the birds are relaxed and take their time. Like this pair of lordly Canada geese strolling in the middle of the street like they own the place.

Some birds even remain still like this sage seagull contemplating the immensity of the ocean that is full of crabs, the curious people on the beach, and the sky that is endless freedom.

I hope you enjoyed this random selection of birds. Thank you for swinging by. Enjoy your weekend!

How are you, dear friend @litguru?
Birds are truly unpredictable, and you have to be a pro to photograph them in flight.
Excellent shots.
Have a great day.
It requires a lot of patience too. Thank you, @jlufer.
