On yet another lovely sunny day we visited Bempton Cliffs Reserve which is run by the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) on the Yorkshire coast in the UK. Between March and August seabirds fly here to nest on the chalk cliffs overlooking the North Sea.

The white chalk cliffs are dramatic in themselves but when the birds arrive even more so.

At the Reserve, you can spot many birds such as, razorbills, gannets, guillemots, puffins, and so many more. If you're up for a nice walk and have a head for heights, you can keep going along the coastal path that leads to Flamborough Head.

This is my entry to the Feathered Friend's #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 223 - Free Theme.

Out of all the birds we saw, my favourite were the puffins. They’re not something you see every day since they spend most of their time out at sea.

Thank you to @nelinoeva and the @featheredfriends team for running the competition.
