Scaly-breasted Munia (Lonchura punctulata), also known as the Spotted Munia or Nutmeg Mannikin

first 5 pics are juveniles. as can be seen it has not developed the scaly breast. plus its beak has not fully form.

i often see them eating seeds, especially grass seeds, but also eats small insects.
