In March we celebrate International Women's Day, an essential human being in our lives, to whom one month, one day or one year is not enough to honor and venerate, it is something we must do all our lives.

True to our philosophy of celebrating this date, we were immersed in several activities aimed at honoring our female colleagues and, in this endeavor, we had a lot of activity, as we celebrated the day of the female colleagues of my work area, of the entire center and of my female colleague.

In one of the last activities of the month, related to the visit of researchers from the Karpinsky Institute of the Russian Federation, we even took the opportunity to recognize two colleagues from that institution who visited our country.

I also dedicated a publication to the most important women in my life.

This publication is my summary of homage to all the women of the world, especially to those who are part of my life. Also, my congratulations to all the women of @hive.

Activity with the women in the Knowledge Management Department

The women in my work area are special, in each of them there are details that fill your heart with love and make you feel that you are special. For this reason, we, their colleagues, cannot miss occasions like these to congratulate them, share anecdotes, listen to music, laugh and eat something that is the fruit of our collective effort.

This month saw another emotional moment with our colleagues.

In my work center women predominate, although the ratio is not very large, but they are the majority and, like all women or most of them, they have several jobs: researchers, housewives, mothers, grandmothers and, among other things, they are magicians because they have to resort to magic to overcome all the problems we face every day.

Celebrating with my wife

This is one of my special women, the companion who has been by my side for 28 years and has shared the good and bad times we have had. She is the one who often has to deal with my bad moods or my depressive moods, but, she is my wife, companion, friend, accomplice and confidant.

In a month like this, I could not miss sharing with her and having fun, something that, in all honesty, we do on a regular basis.

Visit of the Karpinsky Institute of Russia to the Institute of Geology and Paleontology

At the end of March we received a visit from the Karpinsky Institute of the Russian Federation to evaluate the fulfillment of the research activities carried out in the international collaboration project on the Metallogenic Map of Cuba.

Like all the activities carried out during the month, this meeting was also dedicated to women, which, in this case, was dedicated to women working in Earth Sciences activities.

A final comment

I carried out many other activities during the third month of the year, but, I consider that none of them had the scope, relevance and importance that those that I carried out together with the women who are part of my family, community and work environment.

Una introducción necesaria

En marzo se celebra el Día Internacional de la Mujer, un ser humano imprescindible en nuestras vidas, a quien no le basta un mes, un día o un año para honrarla y venerarla, es algo que debemos hacer toda la vida.

Fiel a nuestra filosofía de celebrar esta fecha, estuvimos inmersos en varias actividades dirigidas al homenaje de nuestras compañeras y, en ese empeño, tuvimos mucha actividad, pues celebramos el día de las compañeras de mi área de trabajo, de todo el centro y de mi compañera de trabajo.

Incluso, en una de las últimas actividades del mes relacionadas con la visita de investigadores del Instituto Karpinsky de la República Federativa de Rusia, aprovechamos para reconocer a dos compañeras de esa institución que visitaron a nuestro país.

De igual manera, dediqué una publicación a las mujeres más importantes en mi vida.

Esta publicación, es mi resumen de homenaje a todas las mujeres del mundo, de manera especial a las que forman parte de mi vida. También, lleguen mis felicitaciones a todas las mujeres de @hive.

Actividad con las mujeres de la Dirección Gestión del Conocimiento

Las mujeres de mi área de trabajo son especiales, en cada una de ellas hay detalles que te llenan el corazón de amor y te hacen sentir que eres especial. Por tal razón, sus compañeros no podemos dejar pasar ocasiones como estas para felicitarlas, compartir anécdotas, escuchar música, reírnos y comer algo fruto del esfuerzo colectivo.

Este mes fue testigo de otro momento emotivo con nuestras compañeras.

Fiesta con las mujeres del Instituto de Geología y Paleontología

En mi centro de trabajo predominan las mujeres, aunque la relación no es muy grande, pero, ellas son mayoría y, como todas las mujeres o la mayoría tienen varios trabajos: investigadoras, amas de casa, madres, abuelas y, entre otras cosas son magas porque pasa sortear todos los problemas que a diario vivimos ellas deben acudir a la magia.

Celebrando con mi esposa

Esta es una de mis mujeres especiales, la compañera que ha estado a mi lado por 28 años y ha compartido los buenos y malos momentos que hemos tenido. Ella es quien muchas veces tiene que lidiar con mi mal humor o mis estados de ánimo depresivos, pero, es mi esposa, compañera, amiga, cómplice y confidente.

En un mes como este, no podía faltar compartir con ella y divertirnos, algo que, en honor a la verdad, hacemos con regularidad.

Visita del Instituto Karpinsky de Rusia al Instituto de Geología y Paleontología

Cerrando marzo recibimos una visita del Instituto Karpinsky de la República Federativa de Rusia, para evaluar el cumplimiento de las acciones de investigación realizadas, en torno al proyecto de colaboración internacional sobre el Mapa de Metalogénico de Cuba.

Al igual que todas las actividades realizadas en el mes, este encuentro también estuvo dedicado a la mujer, lo que, en este caso, se dedicó a las mujeres que trabajan en las actividades de las Ciencias de la Tierra.

Un comentario final

Muchas otras actividades realicé durante el tercer mes del año, pero, considero que ninguna de ellas tuvo el alcance, relevancia e importancia que aquellas que realicé junto a las mujeres que forman parte de mi entorno familiar, comunitario y laboral.
