Musical Chair - the most fun filled event
Independence day celebration was a lot of fun for kids
As I stated in my last post, this year Independence day celebration was planned in a very sweet way for the kids. There was a drawing competition done in the week end. And the Sports Competition was left for this day, that included a 100mtr Race, Lemon and Spoon Race and Musical Chair. The Lemon and Spoon Race could not happen because kids were asked to have their own arrangement and bring the Lemon and Spoon and that did not happen. But the Musical Chair was the most fun filled event. There were two categories and both were equally competitive. In the interest of the size of the video I had to change some of them to play fast, but then it made it more fun.
Enough drinks were made available and provided to kids, as the climate has been a bit hot again. But kudos to the spirit of the kids and bravo to our volunteers, who sacrificed their personal work and made this possible.
And the cultural events were done in the evening, more to come on that....until then enjoy the video.

Residential apartments makes every ocassion special...by conducting such activities we are making special memory for kids....aren't you fly kites?? ...kite flying on 15 aug is a craze in Delhi...we use to make lots of noises and even arrange dhols or music system on terrace
We have a special festival for that, Makara Sankranti, that happens in January, as the winter ends. We have tried many times, but it needs some special skills. That is the reason, many don't prefer.
I know 14 January has always been a special festival for us. I remember only Guju used to fly on that day....I hardly find them at our side...(eastern)
Naag panchimi is also a festival where use to fly kites all across Uttar pradesh.
