What Lies Beneath?
What secrets lie behind closed doors?
Some people live in a darkness they believe they cannot escape, but they are so wrong. They need to start believing in themselves, get off that couch and onto their feet, and step outside. Start by looking at the small miracles in nature, and look for the good things in this world. What demons are these people fighting? Or are they just afraid of the world and have forgotten to really live?
This waterbird, a Common Moorhen, found its own little island in the sun, resting on the broad leaf of a waterlily. We can also make our own havens in the sun and start living a life filled with meaning.
There will always be shadows looming all around, but we should not allow them to destroy us.
Just like this Waterlily flowering on the rocks, determined to grow and show off its beauty, despite being out of its natural habitat, and on rock.
We can lift ourselves and reach for the stars, like these Red Hot Pokers.
Life can be awfully difficult, but also absolutely wonderful. We can overcome obstacles in our path and experience a life filled with joy and good things.

I had a mushroom poster in the spare room once, and I had to get rid of it, because every time I read the word 'champignons' I'd break into song 'We are the Chamgpignons of the worlddddd'.....
