漫步衛武迷迷村 / Strolling Through Weiwu Mimi Village

在中部，有一個以彩繪塗鴉牆面聞名的彩虹眷村，聽朋友提到，在南部也有一個少為人知的彩繪社區，至少，我之前沒聽人提過，於是，就安排個時間過去看看吧，它就在某個捷運站附近，對於外地人來說，交通算是蠻方便的。

一從捷運站出來，走了沒多遠，就看到一個三層高書櫃的彩繪牆面，還有可愛的貓咪躺在書架上打盹，看來我沒有找錯地方，順藤摸瓜下去，找到一個衛武迷迷村彩繪地圖的指示牌，指出每件彩繪作品的所在地，看起來作品分佈在這社區的各個角落，我興奮地先拍下地圖，打算一個一個地去尋找那些作品。

路邊的圍牆上也有彩繪作品，藝術家用黑、藍、紅等顏色勾勒出普普風的藝術作品，一連四棟社區大樓的牆面上分別是不同藝術家的彩繪作品，說實話，這些彩繪作品好像幫平凡無奇的建築物，穿上一件鮮豔的衣服，當我沿著小巷慢步時，一些不起眼的角落，也有各式風格多變的作品，有療癒系的可愛插畫，也有色彩強烈的抽象創作，當然還有以不同動物為主角的插畫。

其中一棟大樓的外牆，宛如一片翻湧的海洋世界。湛藍的海浪在牆面上奔騰翻滾，浪花間穿梭著形形色色的海洋生物，色彩斑斕的魚群彷彿迫不及待要從牆裡躍出，另一棟大樓的彩繪更是充滿想像力——羚羊的長角竟化作一片繁盛的珊瑚林，成了流離失所的小魚們溫暖的避風港，，塗鴉延伸到了路面上，海裡的魚兒一路游到你的腳邊，好像下一秒似乎就要從地面「噗通」一聲跳出來，

不知不覺中，我在這片彩繪藝術作品的森林中迷路了，但是，我並不心急，因為，每轉一個彎，都會有新的驚喜，我已經忘了要按著地圖尋找，因為在這裡有著太多的彩繪作品，而且，新的彩繪作品還在持續的再添加進來，我發現，還有不少國外遊客，一路上指指點點，也來這裡朝聖，當地居民能住在這樣充滿藝術氣息的地方，不知道開不開心？

In central Taiwan, there’s a famous place called the Rainbow Village, known for its colorful painted walls. A friend once told me that there’s another painted community in the south, one that’s far less well-known. Honestly, I’d never even heard of it before, so I decided to make some time to check it out. It’s located near an MRT station, which makes it pretty convenient for visitors from out of town.

As soon as I stepped out of the MRT station and walked just a short distance, I spotted a giant mural of a three-story-tall bookshelf, complete with a cute cat napping on one of the shelves. That was my sign I’d found the right place. Following the trail, I came across a painted map of Weiwu Mimi Village, showing where each mural was located. The artworks were spread throughout the whole neighborhood, so I quickly snapped a photo of the map and decided I’d hunt them down one by one.

Even the walls along the roadside were covered in art. One artist had used black, blue, and red to create a bold pop-art-style piece. Four apartment buildings in a row each had their own unique murals by different artists. Honestly, it was like these ordinary, plain buildings had been dressed in bright, eye-catching clothes. As I strolled through the narrow lanes, I found more and more pieces tucked into unexpected corners—some were adorable, feel-good illustrations, others were intense and abstract, and many featured different animals as the main subject.

One building’s exterior felt like an entire ocean had been splashed across it. Deep blue waves rolled and crashed along the wall, with colorful fish darting between them, looking like they were about to leap out into the street. Another building’s mural was even more imaginative—a graceful antelope’s horns transformed into a lush coral reef, offering a safe home to wandering fish. The street art even spilled onto the ground itself, with fish “swimming” right up to my feet, as if they were about to leap out with a cheerful splash.

Before I knew it, I’d lost my way in this forest of murals, but I wasn’t in any hurry to leave. Every turn brought a new surprise, and I’d completely abandoned my plan to follow the map. There were just too many works of art to see, and new murals were still being added. I even spotted quite a few international visitors pointing and chatting excitedly as they explored. I couldn’t help but wonder—if you were a local resident, living in a place surrounded by so much creativity and color, would it make you happy every day?
