Transforming into Ursula the Little Mermaid villain make-up

Hey dear friends of this beauty community, I hope you are very well, this time I bring to you this makeup in my attempt to look like the diva Ursula villain of the little mermaid, I love this character since I was a child especially for the song and the way of expressing this character.

Hola queridos amigos de esta comunidad de belleza, espero estén muy bien, en esta ocasión traigo a ustedes este maquillaje en mi intento de parecerme a la diva Úrsula villana de la sirenita, amo este personaje desde niña en especial por la canción y forma de expresarse de este personaje.

My niece is a great enthusiast of her birthday, since her celebration would be of the little mermaid she asked me to be painted as this character, I in my attempt to please this request and seeing an opportunity to practice a creative makeup of this style I got down to work, this character is inspired by one of the most iconic drag queen of the United States and drag culture, called Divine, this is due to the iconic expression marked in the eyes of this figure so distinctive of the movie The Little Mermaid.

Mi sobrina es una gran entusiasta de su cumpleaños, dado a que su celebración seria de la sirenita me pidió que fuera pintada de este personaje, yo en mi intento de complacer este pedido y viendo una oportunidad para practicar un maquillaje creativo de este estilo me puse manos a la obra, este personaje está inspirado en una de la drag queen más icónicas de los Estados Unidos y cultura drag, llamada Divine, a esto se debe la icónica expresión marcada en los ojos de esta figura tan distintiva de la película La sirenita.

Now, the result of this makeup was not the best, nor were the photos I took of the result even so I wanted to bring it. With you the step by step:

Ahora bien, el resultado de este maquillaje no fue el mejor, ni tampoco las fotos que tomé del resultado aun así quería traerlo. Con ustedes el paso a paso:

1. This time I covered the dark circles, eyebrows and blemishes on my face with peach pre-base, then I applied concealer in the color of my skin and blended with a damp sponge.

1. En esta ocasión cubrí con pre-base color durazno las partes de ojeras, cejas y manchas del rostro, después apliqué corrector del color de mi piel, difuminé con esponja húmeda.

1. With a mixture of purple dye, a drop of blue skin dye and foundation I applied with a wet sponge over the entire face, in this step I started to look like eggplant, after having most of the face and neck colored purple, I applied lighter foundation combined with purple and applied it on cheekbones, in the middle of the forehead and chin, blending carefully.

Con una mezcla de tinta morada, una gota de tinta azul para piel y base apliqué con esponja húmeda sobre todo el rostro, en este paso comencé a verme como berenjena, después de tener la mayor parte del rostro y cuello color morado, apliqué base más clara combinada con morado y está la apliqué sobre pómulos, en medio de la frente y barbilla, difuminé con cuidado.

1. I applied intense purple shadow right on the eyebrows to imitate the eyelid crease, in that space I applied a creamy blue shadow and then applied glitter of the same color, on the lower eyelid I applied blue shadow, right on the purple drawn crease I applied base and white glitter shadow on top, her look is expressive and marked in her eyebrows with a thin arch so I wanted to imitate with black pencil this eyebrow elevating the look, I made the eyebrow more intense with a black eyeliner, I loved how it turned out, then I made a black beak eyeliner at the end of the upper eyelid and painted the lower lash line with black pencil, I applied a little white shadow under the eyebrows, to make them stand out, then I applied mascara.

1. Apliqué sombra morada intensa justo en las cejas para imitar el pliegue del párpado, en ese espacio apliqué una sombra cremosa azul para luego aplicar brillantina de este mismo color, en el párpado inferior apliqué sombra azul, justo sobre el pliegue dibujado de morado apliqué base y por encima sombra brillosa blanca, su mirada es expresiva y marcada en sus cejas de un arco fino así que quise imitar con lápiz negro esta ceja elevando la mirada, maquillé la ceja de forma negra mas intensa con un delineador, amé como resultó, después hice un delineado negro de pico al final del párpado superior y pinté la línea de pestañas inferiores con lápiz negro, apliqué un poco de sombra blanca bajo las cejas, para hacerlas resaltar, después apliqué máscara de pestañas.

1. I lined the lips with wine red and filled in with a warm red lipstick.

1. Delineé los labios con rojo vino y rellené con un labial de color rojo cálido.

It should be noted that my face "melted" because I went out in search of the birthday cake without applying the translucent powder or fixative before going out.

Cabe resaltar que se me “derritió el rostro” porque salí en busca del pastel de cumpleaños sin aplicar el polvo traslucido o en si defecto fijador antes de salir.

This was my result, some of the makeup was ruined even before the final picture was taken, but I still achieved my goal; to please my niece and her friends with the presence of the little mermaid villain at the party.

Este fue mi resultado varias cosas del maquillaje se arruinaron incluso antes de tomarme la foto final aun así cumplí con el objetivo; complacer a mi sobrina y a sus amiguitos con la presencia de la villana de la sirenita en la fiesta.
