We use deterrence tactics, so we plant potatoes next to beans, garlic, or other species that deter this beetle. My wife sprinkles the potato leaf with ash, and nettles soaked in water are excellent for dispersing.
Since we are sowing smaller quantities of potatoes, even harvesting Colorado potato beetle the stalks is a consideration.

Even collecting Colorado potato beetles is a consideration.Our beetle managed to hatch eggs. From which larvae develop, which are actually the greatest enemy of potatoes. Because they are able to eat all the leaves.
