Una tarde de sábado con Safari Habana y su correspondiente invitación 😜 [ES-EN]

Hola amigos! Algunos ya sabrán, sobre todos los que pertenecen a la comunidad @hivecuba hace más tiempo, que participo en un proyecto sin fines de lucro, que se llama Safari Habana:

Hello friends! Some of you may already know, especially those who have belonged to the @hivecuba community for a long time, that I participate in a non-profit project called Safari Habana:

Este proyecto nació hace unos años ya, y se integra sobre todo por fotógrafos y modelos, profesionales y amateurs, también hay videógrafos y, por supuesto, algunos van porque tienen muchos amigos allí y siempre es motivo de unas buenas risas al reunirse.
En esta ocasión la convocatoria se hizo para el Paseo Marítimo de 1era y 70 en el Municipio Playa, en La Habana.

This project was born a few years ago, and is integrated mainly by photographers and models, professionals and amateurs, there are also videographers and, of course, some go because they have many friends there and it is always a reason for a good laugh, when they meet.
On this occasion the meeting was held at the Paseo Marítimo on 1st and 70th in Playa, Havana.

_Convocatoria

La concurrencia fue muy buena a pesar de no ser una zona muy céntrica (geográficamente hablando), aunque si muy visitada.

The participation was very good despite the fact that it is not a very central area (geographically speaking), although it is a very visited.

Hace unos años, no muchos, este lugar estaba bastante más tranquilo, e iban familias, enamorados, amigos para bañarse en la costa. Ahora es un hervidero de personas, pues se han abierto locales tipo bares, al que van a pasar el rato las personas, comer, tomarse unos tragos con música y baile…

A few years ago, not many, this place was much quieter, and families, lovers, friends went to bathe in the coast. Now it is a hive of people, because they have opened local type bars, where people go to hang out, eat, have a few drinks with music and dancing...

¡Así que una vez más nos reunimos para hacer fotografías! Otros a posar delante del lente. Muchos llevamos nuestrxs modelos, otros prefieren hacer fotos de paisajes, de las personas que ya se encontraban en el sitio, del atardecer, macro, algunos pasan por varios tipos de fotografía.

So once again we gathered to take pictures! Others to pose in front of the lens. Many of us brought our models, others preferred to take pictures of landscapes, of people who were already on the site, of the sunset, macro, some went through several types of photography.

Lo que Safari es, sin lugar a dudas, un espacio para pasarla bien, ganar en experiencia con el trato hacia lxs modelos, aprender del equipamiento necesario para algunos trabajos. Las chicas y chicos, aprenden algunas cosas sobre cómo posar, sobre todo cuando trabajan con algún fotógrafo más experimentado.
Te enseña una dinámica nueva y compleja, pues no es sencillo tener una persona ( o varias) delante de ti esperando para tomarse fotos, mientras ajustas a cada paso La velocidad de obturación, la apertura del diafragma, el enfoque, el encuadre, revisas al histograma para que la foto no salga sobre o sub expuesta, en fin... varias cosas a tener en cuenta en un tiempo realmente corto.

What Safari is, without a doubt, is a place to have a good time, gain experience in dealing with the models, learn about the equipment needed for some jobs. The girls and boys learn a few things about how to pose, especially when they work with a more experienced photographer.
It teaches you a new and complex dynamic, because it is not easy to have a person (or several) in front of you waiting to take pictures, while you adjust at every step the shutter speed, the aperture, the focus, the framing, check the histogram so that the photo is not over or under exposed, in short.... so many things to take into account in a really short time.

Aunque muchos tienen "hierros" 😎 como se dice en el argot popular a las cámaras con altísimas prestaciones, la realidad es que también van otros con equipamiento bastante menos potente y que de igual forma participan, hacen sus fotos y ganan en práctica. Lo importante es pasársela bien y por supuesto aprender.
Allí nadie va a estar "enseñando" sin embargo, siempre se encuentra el momento para algún aprendizaje con amigos, yo en esta ocasión hice uso del flash para fotografías donde el ambiente es más oscuro, pues generalmente trabajo solo con luz natural. Mi profe y ayudante fue @abelfotografia (también me cargó el flash con el trípode: es que eres bello manito! 🤗😂)(...esta vez cambiamos de tareas!🤣)
El ambiente general es muy muy bueno y agradable, se reúnen a veces por grupos para hacer determinada imagen y también los hay "nómadas", que saltan de grupo en grupo. ¡Como te funcione más ese día! Yo generalmente hago un mixto de eso 😅😂

Although many have " hierros" (iron) 😎 as they say in popular slang to cameras with very high performance, the reality is that others also go with much less powerful equipment and still participate, make their photos and win in practice. The important thing is to have a good time and of course to learn.
Nobody is going to be "teaching" there, however, there is always a moment to learn with friends, this time I made use of the flash for photographs where the environment is darker, because I usually work only with natural light. My teacher and assistant was @abelfotografia (he also charged me the flash with the tripod: you are beautiful little hand! 🤗😂)(...this time we change tasks!🤣)
The general atmosphere is very very good and nice, you meet sometimes by groups to make a certain image and there are also the "nomads", who jump from group to group. how it works more for you that day! I usually do a mix of that 😅😂.

Ya ven que además me dedico a retratar a los amigos durante este rato, que es otra cosa que me gusta hacer, pues quedan luego bellos recuerdos de ese momento y que además los fotógrafos nunca salimos en las fotos 😂

You can see that I also take pictures of my friends during this time, which is another thing I like to do, because there are beautiful memories of that moment and we photographers are never in the photos 😂

Así que la invitación está hecha, si eres o estás en La Habana puedes ir sin preguntar siquiera. Es solo aparecerte allí, como fotógrafo o modelo, o ambos! Puedes ir solo o acompañado, siempre hay muchas caras nuevas en cada evento, así que puedes asumir que no serás la única persona quien no conozca a nadie más, pero fijo que conocerás algunos de los integrantes de la Comunidad de @Hivecuba.

So the invitation is out, if you are or are in Havana you can go without even asking. It's just show up there, as a photographer or model, or both! You can go alone or accompanied, there are always many new faces at every event, so you can assume you won't be the only person who doesn't know anyone else, but you'll definitely meet some of the members of the @Hivecuba Community.
