A Wild Turkey Visited - by Sunscape

Look who I found at my bird feeder this morning as I poured my cup of coffee. Apparently, she has been there before as I watched her come directly out of the woods and trot straight over to it.




Last week I saw a big male turkey walk across the edge of my backyard. Now, I see that she is here too. Perhaps I will get to see some little ones with her in the future.




Unfortunately, we had to put up temporary fencing around the yard to keep our puppy safe. This sure makes it hard to get a nice picture of the local wildlife. The bird feeder had to be put on the other side of the fence too since our puppy would not stop eating the bird food.
