I'm thinking of writing about this beautiful place

I'm in a beautiful place. Somewhere in England the coast line is picturesque and the villages are so well preserved. In this place, in fact, they have some of the most well preserved historical artefacts, some of which still serve their original purpose albeit at a much smaller scale.
An old mill is one of such artefacts, or shall I say museum of artefacts. In it are wheels and stones that are nearly a thousand years old. Some are on display for tourists to admire while others are in active use. A mix of everything between Roman to Victorian engineering can be seen in this place.
For the first time in many months, I feel moved to write a very long-form post about this place. It will probably take me a week or so to prepare, including getting the photos together, creating the video(s) and writing the post. It will probably also not get upvoted that much, since it won't be seen by many, but I sometimes use Hive as a diary anyway. I enjoy looking back at some of my longer posts and reminiscing on them. The post I wrote about Lisbon is one of such. I am very proud of that post and enjoy looking back in time through it. I think it won first or second place in the weekly Pinmapple (now Worldmappin) curation. For whatever reason, it didn't receive any votes from the usual high powered voters that reward such posts. Sometimes I think this account is cooked. By virtue of being here for so long, I guess, it's accumulated a lot of ops. I know my account is on several blacklists, never to be upvoted by them. Lately I've even noticed some counter downvotes to some posts I upvoted. I think it's automatic, no idea why. Maybe some collateral damage from supporting the wrong person, or whatever. Not sure why that's even needed as my upvote is non-existent anyway.

Both the humans and animals here are fascinating, providing many photographic opportunities. And, don't get me started on the landscape. So, yeah, I'll probably write a long-form post about this place. If anything, just for me to remind myself how I felt being here.
Peace & Love,
Adé
I guess writing for yourself is the best thing to do anyway.
Look forward to the post 😍
