After exploring rooms reminiscent of ship cabins, the atmosphere takes a completely different turn. We now enter a room adorned in a buttercup yellow hue, part of the apartment decorated by Jean Pascaud, Gilbert Poillerat, and Genes Babut.
An elegant staircase guides us to the chamber where François 1^er is said to have taken his last breath in 1547. At that time, the castle belonged to the captain of his bodyguards, adding a historical dimension and a touch of elegance to this captivating visit.

Après avoir exploré des chambres évoquant des cabines de bateaux, l'atmosphère prend un tout autre tournant. Nous pénétrons maintenant dans une chambre d'un jaune bouton d'or, faisant partie de l'appartement décoré par Jean Pascaud, Gilbert Poillerat et Genes Babut. Un escalier élégant nous guide vers la chambre où François 1^er aurait rendu son dernier souffle en 1547. À cette époque, le château était la propriété du capitaine de ses gardes du corps, ajoutant une dimension historique et une touche d'élégance à cette visite captivante.

The blend of different styles is truly surprising and pronounced in this castle.
Le mélange des différents styles est vraiment très surprenant et marqué dans ce château.

I did not expect to discover such a decoration.
Je ne m'attendais pas à découvrir une telle décoration.
