It is very hot, and we are gradually discovering the treasures of this site. Among them: the Odeon, the sanctuary, and the portico with 17 niches.

The Odeon was a building intended for cultural, social, and musical activities. It often served as a concert hall, theater, or a venue for important meetings. These structures were common in the Greek and Roman worlds, testifying to the cultural influence that extended to the region of Illyria.

The sanctuary was probably a sacred place dedicated to specific deities. Sanctuaries were significant spaces in the religious life of the city, often housing altars, temples, or other structures associated with religious rituals.

The portico with 17 niches was an arcade structure with 17 niches, each potentially serving a specific function. Porticos were prevalent in Roman and Greek architecture, often serving as meeting places or galleries to house sculptures or artistic elements. The study of the portico with 17 niches allows for the reconstruction of the aesthetic and functional aspects of this part of the Apollonia site.

Il fait très chaud et nous découvrons, progressivement, les richesses de ce site. Parmi elle : l'odéon, le sanctuaire et le portique aux 17 niches.

L'Odéon était un bâtiment destiné à des activités culturelles, sociales et musicales. Il servait souvent de salle de concert, de théâtre, ou de lieu pour des réunions importantes. Ces structures étaient courantes dans le monde grec et romain, et elles témoignent de l'influence culturelle qui s'étendait jusqu'à la région d'Illyrie.

Le sanctuaire était probablement un lieu sacré dédié à des divinités particulières. Les sanctuaires étaient des espaces importants dans la vie religieuse de la cité, et ils abritaient souvent des autels, des temples ou d'autres structures associées à des rituels religieux.

Le portique aux 17 niches était une structure à arcades avec 17 niches, chacune pouvant avoir eu une fonction spécifique. Les portiques étaient courants dans l'architecture romaine et grecque, servant souvent de lieux de rencontre ou de galeries pour abriter des sculptures ou des éléments artistiques. L'étude du portique aux 17 niches permet de reconstruire l'aspect esthétique et fonctionnel de cette partie du site d'Apollonia.
