I arrive in front of the famous Parc de la Villette, where the renowned City of Science and Industry majestically stands. It's fascinating to think that at this location, once stretched immense slaughterhouses, witnesses of a bygone era. The last cow was slaughtered here on March 14, 1974, marking the end of an industrial era. Since then, the neighborhood has undoubtedly enjoyed a more tranquil atmosphere and improved air quality.

J'arrive devant le célèbre parc de la Villette, où trône majestueusement la réputée Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie. Il est fascinant de penser qu'à cet emplacement, autrefois, s'étendaient d'immenses abattoirs, témoins d'une époque révolue.
Le dernier bœuf y a été abattu le 14 mars 1974, marquant ainsi la fin d'une ère industrielle. Depuis lors, le quartier a certainement bénéficié d'une atmosphère plus paisible et d'une meilleure qualité de l'air.
