Magic dreams
Last night I dreamt of many places and situations, they were very social and in all scenarios there was plenty of people. They started out quite dense though, first with a repressive government, then a war that ended in nuclear mayhem. Somehow some of us survived even when we were present in the explosion, yet everything changed from there on.
Magic took over and I was living in a community of people who knew how to build by making branches of trees grow to their will. Imagine Avatar-like element bending, but with trees. It was a beautiful sensation to move my hands and see the branch extending to where I wanted it
Sorry, couldn't resist to take the idea to Midjourney and see what came out... I couldn't get anything remotely like my dream though, I'm going to need a prompting course.
There were also new kinds of animals, like the familiars of fantasy worlds. Mine was a blue flying cat and had a very friendly personality. It was a shame to wake up from that beautiful dream, yet I was grateful I experienced it all the same.
Some other moments I've been experiencing these last days:
Maybe I should add some words.
Though I've grown weary of explanations.
Is there anyone out there who could claim they have benefited from anything I've written?
If there was someone, I'd be glad to write for that person.
From now on, I'll wait to be asked for the information.
Otherwise I'll just freely let my mind run down the hill and into the stream.
Anyways, beautiful colors if I do say so myself. Very grateful for these moments that compel me to take a picture.
Good night!
You've really built yourself a beautiful home there! Thanks for sharing the pics. As far as explanations go...I don't need a lot of words to enjoy this post, but only because I already know the context, because I've been following your story from the first journey through South America to where you are now (sorry, can't remember exactly where that is). I feel like I benefit from your writing (your story). One way is perhaps that I'm just living the offgrid, environmentally conscious life vicariously through you. I know that I'm getting something from viewing and following you. Perhaps it keeps a dream alive, or gives me hope, to see you living an alternative lifestyle: it proves that if I really wanted to, I could do it too (and still be a writer and a photographer!). Thanks again for sharing. :)
Hey there, you've been around since the beginning and I thank you for that! What you say is pretty interesting, that my writing allows you to envision some aspects of this way of life, I suppose that's a good reason to juice out some words 🤸
@drrune the dream described in here, might fascinate you ;<)
Thanks again for tagging me on these posts, my friend! And thank you @fenngen, for sharing that dream. Would it surprise you to know that I've had variations of that dream more than once in recent years? I've gotten very deep in their meaning. They're profoundly hopeful because they speak of the aftermath of all this chaos we've witnessing. I'm elated that you dreamt this!
De nada!
I re--watched half of the Movie Akira, yesterday night, and found out that it takes place in 2019, decades after a fictional third world war. It's postapocalyptic in theme and contains government riots, people wearing masks etc.
I couldn't help but feel a little unsettled, watching it now, a little over 3 years since the so called Covid (20)19 p(l)andemic.
And talking about dreams, I dreamt that I was drowning, last night. I was sitting at the water ( sea side? ) and suddenly it rose extremely fast, way over my head. The water was not clear/ clean and I couldn't breath. I woke up with my head under the blanket.
Wow, that's pretty crazy, perhaps some big changes really are on the horizon. Hopefully no nukes needed for that to happen but the cycle of death and rebirth is unpredictable... Funny you guys reacted to this, reminds me of that dream I had where we fought the devil and despite not knowing you in the flesh I was certain you were there @vincentnijman and @drrune
Ahhh, yes! I remember that dream! And it's pretty fortuitous that you mention it now, because of the visit that you received recently at home and other coherences. For instance, I was talking with @selfhelp4trolls a few days ago and Lucifer came up during the chat. Also, Vincent tagged me on a post where a Tarot reader pulled the Devil.
The nuke that you saw I've also seen, but I experience it not as a destructive force, quite the opposite. It's like an atomic bomb but it releases enormous amounts of love and compassion.
I'd never thought of nukes that way, but it could be, who knows what kind of liberation that would bring knowing that all is energy in the process of transformation
Were we fighting the devil with you or were we the devil? ;<)
Good question, we're probably the devil and I still don't know whether that is something to be embraced or vanquished 😑
I think we're probably both ;<)
You were blanket-drowning!
It seems to happen to me regularly, either because I'm bugged by mosquitoes ( not in my new place ) or because I try to tune out sounds ( likely here )
Yes, Akira is an amazing classic film. I haven't rewatched it for over two decades, perhaps I should now. As for your dream, the blanket surely had something to do with it, but the fact that the water was murky and that it was a huge wave is meaningful in the context of this global situation. It speaks of repressed, mostly "negative" emotions breaking out.
Interesting to know that. I'm certainly feeling it, although it might also be cutting down on caffeine ;<)
I highly recommend to give Akira another watch, one of these days.
Amazing DIY skills you have! Wow you built your own place. Interesting dream you have there. I'm following your story and reading it too. I may not leave comments often though. Enjoy your weekend!

when i read your experience about your dream i was overcome with goosebumps
i also dream so much every night
only recently i have not only been processing traumas in dreams
but I am in unknown beautiful places
and meet beings, especially women
who may be guiding me, offering me support
but I usually can't remember the nice things as consciously as the traumas that occupy me
maybe not so bad for the time being
there I have already a small touch, how big the horizon is, so that my perspective becomes larger
and at the same time I work on my problems to be ready for the big horizon
So good to dream a lot, it means there's always an adventure waiting for us when we go to bed :)
what you experience there is just as real as when you are "awake" (in the dream of mother earth)
